+ -1 moreGreg and his team were super responsive, extremely punctual, and were amazing when it came to negotiating price. The project was much more involved than a standard door replacement and the team did an excellent slice.
Description of Work: Greg and his team removed 3 old sliding doors, framed out new walls, and installed new French door sliders.

+ -1 moreFirst, the work crew came out, uprooted my landscaping plants, and moved them to different spots in the yard. They tore off the old roof, and they were pretty tide about clean-up. But then began the long series of phone calls and e-mails to Scott. Hi, where are you? When will we see you again? It's raining. There's a chance of rain. It's raining INSIDE MY HOUSE! If we were lucky, he'd send people over with more hurricane roof saran wrap. It reached the point where my policeman next door neighbor was offering me the phone number of someone in his fraud department. Scott had a series of stories, ranging from his right hand man just was in a tragic car accident to he had gone out of town for an (unexpected?) wedding. When he was finished (or his stretched-too-thin-between-jobs crew was finished) the roof did look great. Everything in my yard was dead as a doornail, because his crew had left their materials lying on my groundcover for months at a time. The roof was done, but the anguish! When dealing with a sum of money like that, it was painful not knowing whether or not my husband and I were not just completely being taken in. Working with Scott was a lesson to me that the best bargain is not always the lowest bid. I should have paid that extra $500 bucks for the professional with the better reputation and bought myself some peace of mind.
Description of Work: James S. Lester (Scott) is an excellent salesman -- too bad his work crews couldn't deliver. We did end up with a beautiful, if expensive, new white metal roof which has been much admired. But oh, the pain.

+ -1 moreHe came out and gave us an estimate. Usually when we have a project in our household, it usually takes about four or five weeks because nothing goes right. Windows Solutions Plus came out and replaced all of our windows. They were here for about 12-14 hours, and by the time they left, our house was just as spotless as it was before they even got there. They did the best job in our home that we've ever had. They also came back about two weeks later to make sure that the caulking hadn't cracked and they redid some of the caulking for small cracks on the inside and outside. They were awesome and we have recommended them to people, and we will continue to do so.
Description of Work: He came out and installed all new windows in our home.

+ -1 moreWINDOW WAS NEVER OPENED FROM THE BOTTOM SINCE INSTALLATION IN 2000 AND THE FIRST TIME IT WAS OPENED FROM THE BOTTOM (2002)IT BROKE.
Description of Work: INSTALLED WINDOW JUST FINE. NO SERVICE AFTERWARDS. WINDOW SASH BROKE AND AFTER 11 CALLS AND NEVER A CALL BACK, WINDOW IS STILL IN DISREPAIR.

Description of Work: ALTERNATIVE WINDOW SOLUTIONS REPLACED NINE OF MY OLD WINDOWS WITH SINGLE HUNG VINYL, INSULATED, DOUBLE PANED WINDOWS. BUSTER LENTINE, OWNER, CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE, MEASURED ALL OF MY WINDOWS AND GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE. HE WAS PUNCTUAL AND EXTREMELY COURTEOUS. HE HAD A WINDOW SAMPLE, WHICH HE FULLY DEMONSTRATED. THE INSTALLERS ARRIVED A FEW WEEKS LATER AND THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB INSTALLING THE WINDOWS. THEY WERE ALSO VERY COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS I HAD. I AM EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
