Went very well save initial hiccup of being late to the appointment by 45 minutes due to a transportation problem. Otherwise, he worked quickly, quietly and to the price estimated on the phone, sight unseen.
Description of Work: He tackled tuning an upright piano that hadn't been tuned for 20 years.

He arrived on time, was professional in his manner and appearance, and completed the services needed.
Description of Work: Mr. Marshall inspected a used piano we just got and gave us an assessment of its quality. Then, he tuned it for us.

Nolan was absolutely excellent. Great communication, he was here right on time, obviously very experienced and very, very good at what he does, along with having a very reasonable rate. He even showed the new owner of the piano how it worked and checked it out for her to make sure it was in good shape after the move.
Description of Work: Nolan moved a vintage piano from Seminole to Tampa for me.

Excellent service.
Description of Work: Truthfully I had this gentleman move my piano months ago and I don't remember how much the bill was. BUT, I do remember thinking that he was worth the price paid and then some. I would definately recommend him. He moved the recently purchased piano to my home, then returned one week later to tune it.

Our family was offered a piano through an internet classified. Time was of the essence as we did not want to put out the family giving it away. Friends had offered to help move the piano and we rented a truck. However, our friends backed out 1.5 hours before the piano was supposed to be picked up and my husband was already on the way to get up the piano, which was about 1 hour's drive away. In desperation, I called The Piano Doctor and asked him if his quote was still good even though I gave him no notice. He was very agreeable to help move the piano and tried to get one of his assistants to help but there was not enough notice for his assistant. So he brought his truck, trailer, and all the moving accessories and was at the house at the time that was designated even before he agreed to move it. His way of moving the piano DOWNSTAIRS was absolutely BRILLIANT--there was not a scratch on the piano or anywhere else, and neither The Piano Doctor nor my husband had to carry it on his back or above his head, so there was no risk of injury or fall. Everyone watching the move agreed that they would not have had the insight in moving pianos to do what The Piano Doctor did to move the piano down the stairs, which included a landing. He came straight to our house after picking up the piano and got the piano set up all by himself during the time it took my husband to return the unused truck. He is very friendly and was able to tell us about the piano and what we might pay attention to in eventually having it tuned. I should have initially arranged for The Piano Doctor to move the piano instead of going through the headache of trying to find help to move it. What a relief that he was so kind in helping us!
Description of Work: The Piano Doctor was at the pick-up location in the time it took him to drive there. Because he did not have an assistant as we gave him no notice whatsoever for the job (our friends who had volunteered backed out on us and we were in desperate need to find someone to help), The Piano Doctor moved the piano, and only needed my husband's assistance down the flight of stairs for stability. There was no damage whatsoever to the piano or anything else. He speedily transported the piano to our house and set it up all by himself on the ground level. He then showed us what would need attention when we would decide to have it tuned.

He returned my initial call promptly and arranged the move to meet my schedule. He arrived on time and made quick work of the move. He scheduled a time to return to tune the piano about a week later and when he was unavoidably delayed for a short time he called to let us know.
Description of Work: We needed to move an 8" grand piano that had been in storage for about 3 years. The Piano Doctor and an assistant came to the storage facility, put the piano on a piano board and moved it to our home. because we were concerned about our hardwood floors, he took extra care and used additional padding. He reassembled the piano and placed it exactly where we requested. After the piano had acclimated to the new space (about a week) he returned to tune the piano.

THE PIANO DOCTOR ARRIVED WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, PERFORMED THE SERVICE HE WAS PAID TO DO AND OUR PIANO NEVER SOUNDED SO GOOD AND THEY KEY WAS UNSTUCK AND RESTORED TO FULL WORKING ORDER. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE.
Description of Work: WE HAVE AN OLDER PIANO - AN ACROSONIC UPRIGHT. ONE OF THE KEYS WAS STUCK DOWN AND MADE NO SOUND. THE REST OF THE KEY BOARD HAD NOT BEEN TUNED IN OVER 15 YEARS. THE KEY WAS UNSTUCK AND THE PIANO WAS TUNED.

HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE PUT THE PIANO EXACTLY WHERE I WANTED IT AND EVEN CHECKED IT OVER. HE DISCOVERED SOMETHING STUCK IN THE KEYS, SO HE CLEANED OUT THE KEYBOARD AT NO EXTRA COST. HE EVEN CALLED A MONTH OR TWO LATER TO SEE IF IT WAS OKAY AND IF IT NEEDED TUNING.
Description of Work: I WAS GIVEN A PIANO BY MY NEIGHBOR 5 HOUSES DOWN. HE AND HIS SON CAME TO MOVE IT AND BECAUSE IT WAS BETTER FOR THE PIANO, THEY ROLLED IT DOWN THE STREET ON A SPECIAL DOLLIE.
