+ -1 moreHe was three weeks late in getting started. He started the job but left it incomplete. One door not finished, and two doors completely missing from the order. He promised to return in two weeks to complete the job. It has now been a month and he will not return any phone calls.
Description of Work: I signed a contract with Stanek and provided a 40% deposit for the installation of storm shutters on my home.

Description of Work: I gave Steve Stanek a deposit in early April for 4 sets of shutters. Here it is June 7, and I've never heard back from them. I got through on his cell phone about 2 weeks ago and he said he was waiting on a part. Now he doesn't answer his phone, both office or cell. I've left numerous messages....nothing. It is possible that something happened to him, that he's out of the country, or something else...but this doesn't feel good. I feel as if my deposit is gone and I'll have to resort to legal action shortly. Stay clear of this guy. Something is not right....
