+ -1 moreEverything went very well. Scott and his daughter Brittany were very prompt, pleasant, professional and helpful! We were doing a complete remodel and they provided great input. It took three different trips out to do the work at different stages of our remodel. We even bought a tub which would not work, and Scott and Brittany got one that would work. Both are very knowledgeable and proficient, very easy to work with, and take pride in their work. They are very fair in their estimates and pricing. They are very honest and helpful with their advice-and do not try to overcharge or add work not needed. We will be calling them for any future plumbing issues and highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing.

We are very picky and high maintenance, and he satisfied all our desires without us having to say a word. He is should be the go to guy for any plumbing need in Pinellas.

+ -1 moreI had to have a kitchen faucet replaced. I thought I could handle it until I saw how rusty it was underneath from a slow drip. I called Scott because I had used him before at my rental house, 4 yrs ago. He was as good then as he is now. A personable guy with helpful advice. I called him once about a toilet I couldn't get to not wiggle. I would have paid him to come out, he suggested the nickel's, what? Shove a nickel under one side. It worked. No bill and free advice. + -1 moreI noticed water spraying from the pipe going into my home one morning. It was below the cut off, so I was unable to do anything about it. I got on Angie's List the minute I got to work and located Scotts Plumbing with its very positive reviews. When I called, the phone was answered immediately by Scott himself. I told him about my problem. He was unable to go that day as he was booked up, but said he could take care of the the following morning. I left for work the following morning and when I got home, the job was done - and the cut off valve was updated for me, too! Scott had called and left a message telling me he had gotten it taken care of and left a very reasonable bill on my doorstep. Wow! A professional who does what he says when he says! I do not intend to use another plumber as long as he is still working. For a busy single woman, he's a Godsend. Thank you!!!!

He got a lot of ideas. He just seems really competent. He's a very friendly guy and relaxed and just explains everything thoroughly. He gives me all the options and let me choose and takes it from there.
Description of Work: I used Scott's Plumbing of Pinellas Inc. for installation of the outdoor of our shower. He also painted it.

+ -1 moreThey came promptly, while we were not home. They left a bill at our door, which we called and paid immediately, via credit card. I loved that they trusted us to pay the bill, even though they did not collect the money right after the job was done. Not many companies will do that. It made it very convenient for us. Our water bill was considerably lower this time. They are a great company.

+ -1 moreCalled Scotts Plumbing to schedule a service call for my air conditioning drain line blockage. Scott was very helpful, explaining what the issue might be and how to resolve it. Scott has been my trusted plumber for years...I called him because my A/C repair company was unavailable at the time.Scott suggested a few things to try before he needed to come out for a service call. I was able to clear the line. I appreciated Scott's help and did let him know that the issue had been resolved.
Description of Work: Called Scotts Plumbing in Seminole about an air conditioning drain problem. Scott was very friendly and helpful, explaining what to try first to unplug blocked A/C drain line. He told me to call back if these didn't work. I was able to clear line out without having Scott come out for a service call.

+ -1 moreScott had been out once before to fix my leaky Moen faucet, but needed the Moen cartridge. I wrote to Moen and they sent me the cartridge. I called Scott and he came over, unscrewed the handle, took out the old cartridge and put in the new one. He charged me 60.00 when he couldn't fix the faucet and 85.00 when I supplied the part. He told me he would be working in my neighborhood and would drop on by the next day. So, I was surprised he charged me a 35.00 travel fee and the 50.00 for putting the cartridge in.All in all, I'm happy to have the leaky faucet fixed.

+ -1 moreScott replaced a hot water tank with a new one and removed an old dishwasher and installed a new one. He did a great job on both and we will use him whenever we need another plumbing job.
Description of Work: Scott removed an old hot water tank and installed a new one. The cost of this was $600.00. This may not seem like a great deal, but Scott was very professional and cleaned up after he was finished. A couple of days later, our (ancient) dishwasher starting making loud noises and I knew we needed a new one. So I bought a new one from Lowes and called Scott and asked him how much he would charge to install a dishwasher. He told me $150.00, so I asked him to install my dishwasher for me. So, Scott came over a couple of days later to install it. However, since the old dishwasher was really old and I had since replaced my kitchen floor with ceramic tile, he ran into all kinds of problems getting it out from under the countertop. When that problem was finally conquered, the new dishwasher would not fit into the same space. So, with a lot of adjustments, he finally got it under the countertop and into the space and hooked it up. There were a lot of problems during the process which turned what should have been a one hour job into a three hour project. Scott charged me $260.00 instead of the original agreed price of $150.00, but I agreed with it because it took him 3 times as long as it normally should have. The bottom line is he completed the job and I felt the price was reasonable under the circumstances.
