AT THE TIME I ORDERED THE SCREEN-IN, I HAD NO IDEA HOW ABSOLUTELY GREAT IT WOULD BE. AFTER INSTALLATION I GOT A PUPPY THAT WOULD HAVE ESCAPED EVERY TIME I OPENED THE FRONT DOOR, HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE SCREEN ENCLOSURE. VOILA!!! SOLVED THE PROBLEM OF BUGS GETTING IN AND DOG GETTING OUT.

I truly regret having to write this because I wanted to work with Paul but his failure to keep our appointment without calling to cancel in addition to his failure to reply to my follow-up voice mail is precisely why I am an Angie's List member. I take great pains and lots of time reading reviews before I select a contractor just to avoid a negative experience. I won't hire contractors who exhibit this behavior. I first contacted him in March or April 2013. He was at a job site so took my info and said he'd be in touch. A couple of weeks passed without contact so I called again and he had apparently passed me off to someone and appeared surprised I had not been contacted and apologized.. Knowing I was Angie's List, he wanted to help me and we made an appointment. The day of one appointment, he called, was quite a distance away so mutually agreed to reschedule. On the other appointment date, he called and he had an issue at a job site but was willing to come but it would be late ~7-8 pm or later. We agreed to reschedule for a third appointment but that date came and he did not show, did not call nor did he respond to my follow-up voice mail expressing my disappointment for not calling and my request to call me. I had thanked him on previous occasions for calling to cancel and I thought I was very clear with my expectation of a call if he needed to cancel/reschedule. I'm a reasonable, understanding person and the issue with my window was not a and quot;crisisand quot; so I was quite willing to keep trying to connect. I rated him a and quot;Dand quot; since he did call twice to cancel but an overall and quot;Fand quot;. Granted, it was a small job but if he didn't want it, he should have said so instead of stringing me along and leaving me hanging.

Paul, the owner, answered my late afternoon call and came the next day to give a very reasonable estimate. He and his helper, Randy, did a superb job! The 16 year old pool cage was pressure washed and all the screen replaced. It is a better job than the original installation because each panel of screen was individually attached on all 4 sides, whereas the original had long pieces of screen covering 3 sections with no crosswise fastening. Randy even touched up the rusted screw heads and it looks like new! and quot;Gutter repairand quot; is a misleading catagory, because no gutter was involved but it seemed closest to and quot;soffit and fascia repair and replacementand quot;--that should be a catagory! The house and pool house had wood soffit and fascia which was rotted in many places and in general disrepair after 40-some years. The bad sections of soffit were removed and the fascia board repaired where needed. Vinyl coated aluminum soffit was installed and the fascia board was covered with the same material. The machine that bends the fascia material to exactly follow the original contour is fascinating! All this was accomplished in 3 days, plus a couple of hours the 4th day for the finishing touches. The work areas were left spic and span! I will definately call PKS for any future needs (I'm thinking windows!) and don't hesitate to recommend him to others.

PKS did an excellent job. The gutters are 6and quot; versus the 5and quot; gutter used by some contractors. They are made of a heavier gage and better quality aluminum than other contractors wanted to use. Our home is less than one year old and we are very fussy with any work being done around it. PKS gave a great price and did a fantastic job!

Very satisfied overall

I have used them in the past and had quite a few screens needing to be replaced. He came in a timely manner which took a few days since he is down in Pinellas. His price was mid way of the three estimates and he was willing to do the work while there

Paul, the owner is absolutely the best. He immediately returned our call and started work. He rescreened our pool enclosure of over 3,000 square feet, reinforced the aluminum cage with additional beams and cables, pressure washed, removed overgrown vegetation around enclosure and added some much needed gutter. Paul was here on time every day and completed the huge job in a little over 3 days by working long days. We were impressed with how hard he worked and the excellent, quality work as well as his knowledge of repair, etc. We highly recommend PKS. You can hire PKS without any worries. Paul did not request any payment until the job was completed.

PKS did a beautiful job. The screen room is a pleasure to use and adds a whole new dimension to the house. We highly recommend adding one to your home. PKS did a wonderful job. Paul is great guy and easy to work with. He recommended we add a few extras and did so without increasing the price. We can't say enough good things.

Job went well and was completed on time and as expected. We did ask for a follow up on a couple replacement screens for some windows, I think those got forgotten by the technician. We still have not received those screens. However, other than that, the work was done quickly and nicely and the technician did a great job cleaning up after he was finished

I have used Paul before and found him to be very professional and reasonable. He did a great job replacing my mother's screen door, which was literally hanging from it's hinges. He installed a new frame and squared it up nicely, considering how misaligned it was to begin with. He had quoted me a price and even though he had to cut the jamb at the bottom, he did not charge anything extra. He has also replaced torn screening for me in the past. I had to wait a few days to get it done, but it's worth it. Good contractors are seldom sitting around waiting for work!

WE HIRED PKS AND GAVE NO MONEY DOWN AND JOB WAS COMPLETED AND TOLD,DID SOME OTHER MIOR REPAIRS AT NO CHARGE

The situation was handled in small claims court and am getting $2800 back - he has until June 15th to pay (per the court) and I lost $1030 on the project including court costs. As far as the screening work he did a fine job but because of his business practices I would not use this company again. I recommend to never pay money upfront on a job.
