The roof and skylight were installed, but they failed to seal the opening where the kitchen fan had been removed. He sent one of his crew out to seal it up, but the man was not sure where it was on the roof and wanted me to climb up the ladder and point it out to him. I am 77 years old, and I told him I could not do that, but he could come in and look at it from the inside and maybe he could figure it out. He did this, but suggested I just leave the opening for ventillation. I don't know what he thought would happen when it rained. After seeing the opening inside, he was able to find and seal the opening. About a week later it rained, and the skylight leaked - a lot. Someone came out right away to fix it. He said it was a pinhole leak, but there was too much water coming in for that. He assured me it was fixed and would not leak again. In early April of 2011, eleven months after the skylight was installed and repaired, the skylight leaked again. I called Mr. Leone at the number on his business card and left a message on his voice mail explaining the problem. He did not respond. The next day I called his cell phone number, and I got no response to that. I then looked on Angie's List and called the number shown for him, and a person answered who said she just worked for him and told me I should call the number on the business card. He finally called and was very rude. He said all he was doing was repairing roofs and making no money, and if people couldn't wait they should find someone else. He then said he would be out within the week, if it didn't rain. It didn't rain, but he never showed up to fix the leak and I didn't hear from him. I tried to call him again, and left a message on his answering machine asking him whether or not he was going to honor the warranty on the roof, but never received a response. I had no choice but to follow Mr. Leone's advice and find and pay someone else to repair his poor workmanship. Fortunately, I was able to find a good roofer who corrected the problem right away.

After receiving about six bid on our roof we decided to go with Leone roofing since he came highly recommended by friends. The gentleman that gave us the bid was friendly but could've been a bit more helpful with the shingles and explaining the different types. Overall the roof looks great and there is no more rain buildup on our roof.
Description of Work: Replaced old roof and put a slanted roof on flat roof.
