We were, at first very happy with the sunroom; and we still enjoy it for the most part. But several years ago we noticed that one of the exterior panels was cracking. We contacted the company and were told that they were under new management. It didn't seem that the "Lifetime Warranty" was much of a priority. We called...and called...and called....noone returned our calls. We let it drop. Our mistake. The panel continued to degrade and another one began looking bad also. I have now sent a letter to the Bryan Dairy Road address, but have not heard from them. There are a number of companies with the name Home Pro in the Tampa Bay area. It is unclear if they are all connected. It would sure be nice if someone would take responsibility for our problem.

1. HomePro did not pay the subcontractor or one supplier. We were potentially facing $7,000 in liens after we had paid 95% of the balance to HomePro. We had to hire an attorney to prevent this. Only after two months and our attorney informing them of a potential suit did they finally pay everyone. 2. HomePro guaranteed that the work would be complete by October 19, 2012. I am writing this review on January 14, 2013 and the work is still not complete. No work has been done since November 5, 2012. The project failed final inspection because HomePro did not install the required electrical. HomePro has not made any attempt to install the electrical. HomePro tried to fight the county about installing the electrical using the argument "installing the electric will eat up our entire profit on this job". 3. The sunroom portion leaks through the floor. HomePro has not made any attempts to fix this. Please read the countless other reviews of HomePro and the complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau. We are not the only ones that had to deal with these issues. In mid August, they told me that they can’t perform the job because they couldn't obtain the permit to perform the contract we signed. This was due to a property variance code that would not allow the permit to be granted. I requested a refund on September 10th. Upon following up on my request on the 17th to inquire about my refund, he told me that I was at the bottom of the barrel for who to give his time to, since I was requesting a refund. He claims to have sent a check on the 21st for our down payment, but we have not received it. I spoke with Dave, one of the owners, and I told him that if I didn’t get it, he would have them do a stop payment on the check and have them refund the card charges. He said “Are you threatening me?” I said I was not threatening him, but just wanted my money back. He hung up on me and I haven’t heard from them since.
