I have used Capital Appliance for A/C work at several homes as well as refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine repair. I love these guys. Honest, fair, professional and get things working.

Corey was fabulous: professional, punctual, knowledgeable. He not only took care of my problems but also made a couple other minor repairs. He even opened up and vacuumed out the bottom inside of my dryer, which the duct company I had previously called did not do. (They had simply jammed a vacuum hose into the lint slot, slightly bending it!) Corey cleaned up afterwards and was very pleasant throughout. I would certainly call him first for any furture work. I also received a $20 Angie's List discount. Before Corey, I had called a different appliance repair company from Angie's List (sorry - can't remember for sure, but think it was Better Homes, one highly recommended) and they would not even look at my dryer nor would they guarantee any work done without my first having the duct/vent professionally cleaned -- despite the fact that I assured them that the duct/vent was only about 4 feet in length to the outside of the house and had been cleaned with my shop vac. So I had a duct company come out (who charged me $70 for basically nothing) and was told my duct was already clean. That's when I decided to take my business to Capital Appliance, which exceeded my expectations -- I highly recommend them.

Refrigerator stopped cooling. Looked up Capitol on Angie's List. Called for appointment. Repairman came within 4 hours. Diagnosed problem as heater that is used to de-frost was not working, and part used to dispense ice cubes was also not working. He gave an estimate, then ordered the parts and then returned two days later to install the new parts. Everything now works fine.

Serviceman showed up on schedule and was very courteous. A new part was needed. He told me it would take three days, should expect to see him in that time. Part was just installed today, 10 days later. Service guy was good, I give him an A. But his receptionist is horrendous. She was rude when we called to ask what was going on because they never told us the part wouldn't be in three days after the initial call. She blamed everyone else but herself and her company, never apologized, and was combative. She gets a big F. Hard to imagine using them again, but would only consider it because the service guy was good and courteous.

Excellent. Great service and a lot less expensive than replacing the oven.

My first experience with them was when they evaluated my heating and A/C. They did a fantastic job. Their professionalism has been excellent. They repaired my dishwasher leak within ten minutes.

The fellow who showed up at our house was really a good guy. They were quick and they got the price as quick as was possible for them. They came back as soon as they got them and got the problem fixed. Their price did not seem outrageous to me. We did not get any bids on it because we needed our washer and we did not have time to get some bids. I was really pleased with these guys.

We called this morning and got an appointment time today between 11am and 1pm. The service technician, David, was here by about 12 noon. He figured out what the problem was almost immediately and had the part right in his truck. He had our oven fixed within a half hour. He was very professional and very pleasant manner.

I called for service the afternoon of 2/22/12 because. I found water had accumulated in my dryer vent. I was told that Dave would arrive between 9am and 11am. on 2/23/12 .. Dave arrived at 9:30AM and he said that my vent was probably clogged. He cleaned the air vent and then went up on the roof and found that the screen in the vent hood was totally blocked with lint ..This lint had hardened and was not letting any air or moisture out the vent. He cleaned the screen and then went back on the roof to replace the screen so that the squirrels didn't get into the vent. His work was very professional, and he cleaned up after cleaning the vent..Now the dryer is drying much better than it was. I would definitely use them again.

They did a good job. They came on time. I don’t remember the amount that I spent. They were reasonable. The stove is working fine. While they were here, the other good thing that they did for me was that I had a refrigerator with the ice maker that was down. The guy gave me an estimate on the spot which helped me make a decision about whether or not to get it fixed. He gave me some information on getting a cheaper repair. He gave me extra information that was helpful. His price was excellent. I would use them again in the future if need be.

They were good. I wasn't there when they did the work but they came when they said they were going to come and they got me a hard to get part. They did it for the cost they said they would do it for and now it works. The pricing was a little high but nobody else even wanted to come and fix it. They seemed competent and reliable.

As I explained above the process went well. I wish the part would have been available sooner but that was not Capital's fault. Also they gave me a $10 discount for my Angie's List coupon.

It turned out that a bushing at the bottom of the washer had split, and the dryer belt had broken. I was very impressed with Dave, who knew exactly what to do and wasted no time doing it. I had purchased the correct belt for the dryer in advance, thinking I could do the repair myself. Fortunately, I had second thoughts and realized, watching Dave do the repair, that it was well above my pay grade. I did save on the repair cost by providing the dryer belt. Very impressed with Capital Appliance and will use them again.

After making repeated calls to another company (who had been recommended by an acquaintance) to no avail, I turned to Angie's list and found Capital Appliance. I knew them as small and local, and did not know they did repairs. I called them and received great service from start to finish.

They did a great job and came out when they said they would. They were reasonable priced and were very knowledgeable about their service. They got me through a tough time.
