Description of Work: My refrigerator was leaking water and they came to look at it. The gentleman fixed the hose to the ice maker, then it started leaking from the back of the unit. He then installed a new ice maker for me.

Description of Work: My Dishwasher was not getting water. This company came out for a $60.00 charge. It was the small hose from the water inlet valve to the unit - chewed by a rodent!. They did not have the part but said they would call later with a price. I went online and found the hose for $6.00 plus shipping. They called later and gave me a quote for $125.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Install a $6.00 hose which would take 5 minutes for that price plus the $60.00 I already paid? STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Plus, they DO NOT apply the initial visit cost to any repairs. I ordered the $6.00 hose and can replace it easily. UPDATE: Got $6.00 hose and installed in 5 minutes. Also got the Rat that chewed the hose. If I used this company I would have paid an additional $125.00 besides the $60.00 initial fee.

Description of Work: We were having a problem with our refrigerator getting cold after being turned off for 2 months. When I first called, the earliest appointment was 3 days away, however they called me back almost immediately and said the technician would be in our area the next day and she'd "slip us in". The technician arrived during the scheduled time frame and immediately checked the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer. By this time it had reached acceptable levels. He stayed for about 30 minutes checking it periodically to be sure it maintained the acceptable temperatures. He was able to explain why it seemed to us to take so long to get cold. He offered to clean the coils, which he did. He only charged us for the service call. Very pleased.

Description of Work: Service guy Jeff came to repair our fridge that was not cooling. He quickly determined it was a bad starter and fixed just as quickly. He was very nice, and arrived the same day we called. The fridge has worked fine since then.

Description of Work: Evaluated ice maker which was not working. Provided education and information. Recommended that all items be removed from bottom drawer of freezer and turn it off to see if this was the issue. I did this and ice maker is still not working. Wish this was suggested to try prior to the service call. Not sure if I want to repair or replace refrigerator. Sad they only seem to work 3-5 years. Ratings on refrigerators are not that good this is my second one with 3 repair visits in 8 years! The service representative was very knowledgeable and provided options. Issue is the current products on the market.

Description of Work: Our dishwasher was leaking and the seal needed to be replaced. The repair was done quickly and efficiently. We were also informed we were using too much dish soap in our dishwasher. The repair technician was excellent very pleasant and knowledgeable. We called on 12/24/12 and received service on 12/28/12 with many phone calls from the company to verify they were able to be there on 12/28/12. While they were here they also repaired my oven door and it works much better.

Description of Work: They replaced my outside unit with a rheem corsair, at that time their employees were less than professional, but completed the work and cooled my home again. I had to have the capacitor replaced last month & Midway services said my fan was spinning backwards. Well after spending much money on a fan and motor, they said my unit was beyond repair and couldn't be made to work right. Hence my fan blows outside air into the unit, instead of blowing it out the top (like all a/c units do). I was wondering why my elec. bill was so high! Someone got it wrong and I paid for it, I'd never call capital app again of buy a Rheem appliance!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no problem with your business, but possibly you can tell me why my fan motor runs backward (according to Midway services)? I've already paid Midway for a cap., a new motor, and a new fan blade trying to correct problem another $600. The fan blows hot air into my unit, instead of out the top like most! Interested to know why the unit blows into the unit instead of out the top, like most????
