The water entering my washer began to slow down to a crawl, as if something was blocking the water lines. I called Capital on Monday and they said they could have someone there the next day between 10am and Noon. No one showed up at that time, so I called them at 12:30 and they said they'd get back to me to see what was the delay. The repair tech called shortly afterwards and said he was on his way. He came, had the water valve part on his truck and was able to fix it promptly. I asked about the delay and he said that his office called him and redirected him to another customer's that morning. Fortunately, I work from home and it wasn't a problem but it would have been more professional to receive a call to let me know about the delay rather than just not showing up and me having to call. However, this is the second time I have used Capital for my washer/dryer and they always do a good job at a fair price. I would use them again.

They whole experience took a little over 2 wks,but it was the holiday so it took awhile for them to receive the part from where they order. Once they received it,made an appt and they came out and installed it. Once they were here it didn't take them long at all. Cleaned up everything when done. Works great. Its very hard to find someone that fixes wall units (air conditioners). Ones that are there to help you, are even harder. This company is great..

I was very happy with the caring attitude of the tech.

called to repair dishwasher that was leaking, but diagnosed the leak as being from the disposal unit which was rusted out. He replaced it. Also had requested that they look at the washer. The service person was an A/C man and not overly familiar with them. However, he thought that it was the motor needing replacement and the price quote was enough for me to tell him that I wold rather buy a new one A few days later, the company called & asked if someone else could stop by and look at the washer. He was more experienced with washers and quickly pinpointed the problem and fixed it - another $375, but I went with it. We learned two things - use only liquid detergent in the washer & don't wash rubber backed rugs. Both men were courteous, clean & got the job done.

From start to finish, all went smooth. Person ordering the part and setting up the appointment was very professional. Tech was very knowledgable and polite. He did a good job and I would use this company again.

Checked the fridge; esp. the freezer. After about 1.5 hours of working he found the problem, a defective circuit board which would cost over 300 dollars to replace. He gave us the advice to buy a new fridge, because ours was 9-years old and not worth spending that kind of money. I appreciate his honesty. This company is not related to a store where they sell new equipment. Anyway, we ended up buying a new fridge.

Gentleman came very promptly at the designated time. Was pleasant and cheerful and completed the task in a timely manner. Would certainly use this company again.

My only complaint was that the owner showed up an hour early and did not call beforehand. He was very nice and did good work. I did not have the coupon but he supposedly did not charge me a service fee, but the labor was pretty high for him only being here half-an-hour.

VERY POORLY !!! I scheduled an appointment to have my icemaker repaired on my refrigerator. I had to take time off work, and they called after the appointment time and said he went on an emergency call, and could not make my appointment. Said they would reschedule. My time is valuable also - I will NOT reschedule. I had the appointment, they should not have gone on the other call if they could not make their scheduled appointment. I consider that incompetance, and I don't give people second chances. I have found so much of this in Florida.

Although tech arrived late, he phoned from previous job to say he would be late, weather slowed him that day (it was very rainy). When he arrived, he diagnosed problem with washer within minutes (water would not stop filling even though tub was full, causing overflow). Did not have name brand part, but did have equivalent generic that works equally well. Job was done within 1/2 hour. Very quick work, washer is working better than before. I do recommend company.

I called Capital Appliance on Tuesday, July 27th, after reading their reviews on Angie's list. In partiuclar, I had an older Kenmore washer that would not spin or agitate, and some of the reviews regarding washer repairs seemed promising. My phone call to their office was answered promptly, and I was able to make an appointment for Thursday, July 29th, between 1-3PM. They informed me that the technician would call before coming, and that his name was Dave. On Thursday, at 1:15PM, I got a phone call from Dave saying that he was about 45 minutes away, and would be at the house by 2PM. True to his word, Dave arrived promptly at 2PM, and went straight to work. After observing the machine, he said he knew what the problem was, and within 10 minutes had disassembled the lower portion of the machine to remove the motor. He then replaced the beltless drive washer between the motor and the transmission, saying that it was a common problem on this machine. Within about 20 minutes everything was back together again, and he gave it a check to make sure everything was working properly. In addition, he lubricated the self-leveling mechanism on the back of the machine and made sure everything was tight and level before cleaning up. I was very impressed with the service and professionalism, and will certainly use Capital Aplliance for future appliance repair issues.

He came in and told me how much it was going to cost and told me I needed to get a new one. I have used them a lot. They are good. They usually send the same guy.

I had real mixed feelings about how long it took them to respond. They answered the phone quickly, but getting them out here was a bear. They had people prioritized over me, which I understood, but I had needs too. Both service people who came out were knowledgeable and explained what they were doing. They were good once they came, but it was tough to get them there. It was also the holidays, so I think it was just bad timing on everyone's part.

The only problem was getting the part. That took a while and my small job sort of fell off their to-do list, but when I called, the followed through right away and kept promise to subtract cost of initial repair/service call. I was happy overall. They were very friendly and professional.

Our transaction required two visits, the first to diagnose the problems, the second to repair/replace the problem parts. The service technicians were extremely efficient in completing the work and understanding the problems. The estimates for the individual job combined to $300, the actual invoice was a few dollars less. Yes, less.

It was fine. When the part came in, he came out and replaced a shelf in my refrigerator. It wasn't anything major but I wanted to make sure I got somebody reputable. He did what he said he would do.

They were very good. The oven door wasn't closing all the way so they came out, inspected it and found out it needed to do hinges basically. So, they ordered those and came back to put them in. They charged about 59.95 dollars for the service call first time they came out and the second time they came out it was 206 dollars that included the cost for the part and labor cost which was around 70 dollars. They were very professional, got here right on-time and when they said they would. They came out quickly after I called them so they were also prompt.

I had noticed a loud squeaking noise on starting my dryer that lasted for about 1 minute. Corey came out the same day I called and diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He returned in 2 days and installed a new blower and belt. Dryer works quietly and efficiently again.

the AC stopped working on saturday. they picked up the phone (few companies did on saturday) and showed up as promissed in 2 hours. the capacitor was not working and they put in a temporary one, on monday they came back and instaled the new capacitor.

They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Except for the fact that my freezer couldn't be repaired, the overall experience was excellent.

It went very well. They had to order the part and then came back out and fixed it. It was an older dishwasher and we are pleased with the service. We would recommend them.

First trip: Determined that the dishwasher wasn't leaking. The bottom had rusted out of the garbage disposal, we never use it. He quoted $350 to install a top of the line Inskinerator, but advised that calling a plumber to plumb around it would be cheaper especially since we rarely used it. With determination, he completed the removal despite considerable difficulty and cleaned up after himself. He ran the washer empty & didn't see a problem, so I put a load in & caused it to malfunction as it had previously. He said that it needed a Sus sensor & a new pump - he'd have the office call with an estimate, but I told him that I would buy a new machine before paying a huge repair bill. When I heard the estimate, I said that I would buy a new one. Then I got a phone call from another repairman who had been consulted by the first one. He thought that it might be a simpler problem & wanted to come by & see if it could be fixed more easily. He quickly determined that the drain pump was the problem. He showed me the pump after replacing it, gave me some tips about front-loaders that I hadn't heard before, and went merrily on his way. He even asked permission to take the old pump as a teaching tool for the younger repairman. Overall, the provided friendly & professional service. The quotes were honest estimates and I felt confident that I was being treated honestly. P.S. I mentioned that I was planning on replacing the air handler and that I had just had the condenser replaced. He took one look at the condenser & pointed out to me that the fins were already corroding away. He asked me what was being sprayed on it, like water from an irrigation system, and when I said nothing, suggested that I call the installing company & complain.

At first, I didn't want to put $200 into an old dryer, but the repairman explained that my Kenmore was actually a better model than the ones they make today (better construction and durability). So I agreed to the repair. He also threw in a replacement belt and did a few extra maintenance/cleaning things since he knew I was concerned about the cost.

On time, completed, retured on time and performed servise with out charging.
