He was supposed to show up on Monday, but called Sunday to say his previous job was running longer. On Tuesday when he didn't show up or call, I called and left a message. He finally called to say he couldn't start because there was a 30% chance of rain -- although it was sunny in Sarasota -- but he would be there early on Wednesday. On Wednesday when I hadn't heard from him by 11:30 a.m. I left a message. This time the excuse was his daughter was injured in an accident. He showed up late on Thursday, worked for a couple of hours, then left. Everyday it was the same. Promises to be on the job early, followed by my phone calls inquiring when he was going to show up. The excuses were varied, he was waiting for the UPS driver to deliver his supplies, the weather, etc. The job, which he promised would be completed in three days took ten and was sloppily done. There was only one coat of sealer applied rather than the two promised. It was applied so think, it looked as though someone had spilled milk all over the patio. He returned to try and fix the job, but just made it worse. I had to return to Michigan and I had a friend let him in to finish the promised repairs. If anything he made it worse. There are streaks where he applied the sealer and dark spots where he tried to match his work. It's just awful and now he won't return my phone calls. Now I have to pay someone else to try and fix the mess Jamie made.

I did not want to tile the floor because I don?t grout, so he did turquoise acid stain and put a coat on it. It looks very pretty and a lot of car dealers have it in their showroom. On of them bubbled on it so they did their best to try and correct it. I would not use them again.
