Chris did an excellent job with low pressure cleaning of our roof. The roof looks as good as it did when it was installed. Chris also did an excellent job on the house, patio, driveway, and utility building. Chris is one of the few people who will clean a roof. We could not happier with the job or the price.

We have had Chris paint our home twice, once exterior and partial interior and once interior. His work is meticulous and excellent. Chris goes above and beyond what would normally be expected. In one of our rooms he removed wallpaper and patched some improperly installed drywall. He even installed quarter round molding strips around baseboard in our Florida room.

Chris of Bermuda Bay was great. He painted our house at a good price and he did an excellent job. Chris was extremely professional, tidy, and easy to communicate with. I've referred him to several of our friends and clients and everyone has given us positive feedback. Chris was a pleasure to work with. He did an excellent job painting the exterior of my house. From beginning to end, he was professional, and meticulous. He took great care in preparing and priming the exterior and foundation, applied 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint, and then made sure everything was cleaned up, touched up and perfect. A few years ago, Chris Millen of Bemuda Bay Co painted a few interior rooms in my house and did such an outstanding job that when I needed the exterior painted I did not hesitate to contact Chris for a bid. When his bid came in just under my budget, I didn't even bother to get any other bids. I knew Chris would do a great job. He goes above and beyond the job at hand, works hard and makes everything beautiful. From the prep work, to priming, to painting, he kept me informed of every detail and worked to make sure that I would be pleased with the result. He is pleasant to work with and was of great assistance with determining colors and what type of paint would be best on the house. He was careful when working to make sure that my dogs were contained when the gate was open so they would not get out of the yard. The finished home looks wonderful and I am extremely pleased. Don't hesitate to hire this company. I'm sure you will be just as happy as I am with the quality workmanship delivered by Chris. He is a rare find.

Inviting a painter into your home is like having a house guest for a few days. Chris Millen, owner of Bermuda Bay, was great! Not only is he a meticulous painter, but a very nice person who was a pleasure to have around for 5 days. I liked that he did a thorough check for lead since our house was built in the 50's. We passed that inspection. He helped me pick out paints (flat vs. gloss, etc.) that would accentuate our crown molding. He was very detail oriented and took the handles off the doors instead of just painting around them. He even re-hung some curtain rods for me and a heavy, new mirror which was beyond the call of duty. He covered every piece of furniture and flooring with drop cloths, and even created a hanging curtain between two open rooms to contain the dust from sanding. Well, it's amazing what a few coats of paint can do to a home - bright, cheerful, clean! Thank you, Chris from Bermuda Bay. We will certainly use him again.

As described above. I had purchased new outdoor lights as part of the process and he returned at no charge to install one light that I had to wait for as it was on back order. Chris is knowledge, prompt, expert and extremely professional.

We originally had a dark color and we wanted to change it to a lighter color. He called in the professionals before he even started to make sure we could do it. He is very intelligent and business-orientated. He was nice he even left us a color wheel for a couple of days to look over. I would definitely recommend to others.

Chris arrived each morning and did a very complete and professional job consistently going the extra mile to assure the best service which included spotting and assisting in removing a sizeable bee nest under an eave. His work was always done with the most efficient means of leaving his work area and our home always in top shape. Chris came back after the job was complete to put a missing screw in one of the shutters. Our family cannot say enough about Chris and his personal and professional person and would hire and recommend him to anyone.

The job he provided was of the highest caliber and we would never contract for any other painter, interior or exterior, in the future. Chris went above and beyond the call of duty in painting our beach condo. We were changing color palettes so he worked with us on finalizing a color. He came back several times during color selection to help with ideas. He helped remove railings, etc such that we could fit new furniture into the condo. The paint job itself is flawless and we will use him for the exterior as well. He is very professional, very reasonable and does not nickel/dime for scope creep.

He was very good and did a great job. He was very professional. He was on time, did a good job, cleaned up after himself very well and was very personable. I had to pay for the painting supplies. He did three ceilings and one of them was in a really big room. He had to do two coats, because the lady burned candles, and the one coat did not cover it. Burning candles is worse than smoking. There was some wax on the walls where it had splattered. He said that candles make a worse mess than smoking. They leave a sticky residue on everything. I used really good paint. He was a very nice person, worked hard and worked constant. I would use him again.

Overall, this project went spectacularly. I had several projects ongoing simultaneously to get the house ready to be occupied and this, although the most important, time consuming and complicated was the only aspect that actually went better than anticipated. This is because owner Chris Mullen was extraordinarily professional, responsive and dedicated to doing a fabulous job. The house is a cute cottage that I knew when I bought it had loads of potential. It was also filthy, stinky (previous owners had 6 dogs and an aviary!) and the victim of a lot of less than professional painting in the past. I contacted Chris, among other possible contractors, and he was able to meet with me at the house within a short period of time. We walked the house, discussed what I wanted to end up with in detail and he even brought paint samples so we could make some preliminary selections. He emailed me a detailed estimate within 24 hours that was less than the others I had solicited - and yet more comprehensive and; therefore, gave me a greater degree of confidence in its accuracy. I had a short turnaround time before move in and Chris was able to work with my schedule. He was extraordinarily responsive - I was always able to get in touch by phone or email if I had a question or wanted to discuss the progress. One of the best aspects of our collaboration is that Chris was an awesome problem solver. Dealing with an older home can be challenging but he found ways to make it all work. He was meticulous with many extras other painters would have ignored or used to increase the bill (he never deviated from his estimate). For example, Chris took down all of the HCA vents and discovered that they were badly stained with a greasy residue as though from a fire. He tried several different solutions before finding one that made them look like new. He even did a quick repair to my back gate - although obviously not part of his responsibilities - just to help out! He was also extremely gracious about working around other contractors or delivery people I had to coordinate. The painting itself completely transformed my little house from a dingy and dark place to a light and bright cottage and the meticulousness with which the wall paint and the trim were done resulted in a most beautiful and cheerful effect. It has been a couple of weeks since I moved in and there are times I still just stop, look around, and say, "WOW." Chris's professional talent, attention to detail and personal integrity are incredibly rare. I feel fortunate that what was for me a significant expense was absolutely worth it and more because an exceptional company and person gave me such incredible value for my money. I unhesitatingly recommend him for any similar job and plan to ask him back when I am ready to have the house's exterior painted.

Chris is the owner/operator of Bermuda Bay Co and takes great pride in his work. We have used him before with excellent results so we didn't hesitate to have him do this job. He was able to do the work on short notice and his work is first rate. He is neat, well organized and I trust him in my home. The painting job was of the highest quality and the price was fair. Very well prepared, took of every door knob, He came to our place 2 times because the base paint had to dry before he could do the finishing layer. Also he painted (with oil-paint this time) the front and back-door (metal-sheet doors) Excellent work and also very nice to deal with as it comes to set up a new appointment.

Chris did a wonderful and professional job painting my living room and dining room. He was quite busy when I tried to schedule my appointment, but once I was on the schedule, he handled the job very efficiently. On his first visit, he presented all his certification, license and insurance information. We discussed the job and how long it would take to complete. He even loaned me his paint chip samples so I could choose my wall colors. He also brought me his furniture sliders so I could move my furniture away from the walls. On my scheduled day, Chris arrived right on time. He got right to work prepping the walls and doing the painting we had discussed. He made everything easy, right down to ordering the paint and picking it up at the store. The area to paint was quite large and he didn't quite complete everything by the end of the day. We made arrangements to complete the job the next day and Chris returned and finished the painting just as scheduled. Chris was very careful of my home and belongings, covering the floor with tarps and making sure no paint dripped on my hardwood floors. Overall, he did a terrific job and I would not hesitate to hire him again for another painting job. You can't go wrong with this company and Chris is a super nice guy.

He was punctual, professional and fun to work with. He brought us in at critical stages to make sure we were happy with how the work was progressing. The quality of his work is excellent. Plus, he's someone who you can feel comfortable having in your house.

We had just relocated here from California and had just bought a house in Clearwater. I wanted to get the painting done before we moved in. I could not get into the house before it closed but Chris looked at pictures from the virtual tour that was online to get an idea of what we wanted him to do. Chris was wonderful. He showed up at the time he said he would and gave us suggestions on colors. He got started right away. He was hard working, very professional and a real pleasure to work with. He worked around the other contractor who was steam cleaning the carpets. He worked late and made sure the bedrooms were painted before our furniture arrived. I loved the quality of his work. He was great at communicating, always cleaned up at the end of the day and worked around our schedules. I am very glad we found Chris and I would highly recommend him!
