I had a clogged line and the dishwasher was not emptying. He turned on the machine and told me I was not using the right products when washing. He stayed about 10 mins and said it was fixed. After he left we checked inside dishwasher and it was still not emptying. We then called the company with our Warrenty back and they had A&E Appliances come out.. A&E came and fixed the problem right away.

Mike came out and diagnosed the problem with our washer and ordered the parts. A serviceman came out after about a week to repair the washer. He didn't have one of the parts we needed and he got on the phone with the office and they arranged to have someone else come out the same day to complete the job. They called to let me know the second man was on his way. I was impressed that the second repairman arrived after 6:00 PM and was determined to complete the job before he went home for the day. I was very pleased with my experience with them.
Description of Work: We were directed to APEX by our home warranty company.

My warrenty company has assigned another company to come and look at the unit before making a decision to repair or replace it.
Description of Work: they came to repair amicrowave, unable to do so in the home, removed microwave and took it to their shop. kept attempting to contact them for an update when I could get through they could give me nothing until I contacted my warrenty company I then found out that they could not make the repairs and after eight days they finally returned the microwave.

The WORST service/ professionals EVER. We have been trying to get APEX/Michael Rizzo to fix our range since February 2012. Our home owners insurance is the one who referred us and I could not be more unhappy. They came by and told us we would need to remove all the cabinets in our island so they can get to the range(costing thousands of dollars and weeks of time). I spoke to Dacor directly and they informed me the unit can simply be pulled forward. I rescheduled Apex to return in April - NO ONE showed up. To make matters worse, when I called to ask why no one showed up, Michael Rizzo informed me that he himself showed up. (I am 7 months pregnant and on near bed rest, so I very rarely leave the house. No one from Apex came on the scheduled day.) I had to call everyday for the next 2 weeks before they finally sent someone else. In May, a technician showed up and was waiting for Michael to arrive. When he called, Michael asked if the cabinets had been removed. Of course they had not (nor did they need to be), he then said this was not his policy and refused to do the work, leaving us with a broken range. I requestd Apex release the contract so I could have my homeowners refer someone else. I find this approach to business to be RIDICULOUS. There is no reason Michael's simple "cabinet" question could not have been asked the 2nd time they were scheduled to come out - why waste everyone's time??? I called Quality Appliance Service and they send out someone that day who specializes in Dacor.

It was a very frustrating experience. Took 4 visits (May 7, 21, 31, June 7) to complete. I used Apex Appliance, because it was who my home warranty sent out. I do not recommend them unless you have time to be at home for 4-5 hours to wait on the technician, can deal with their scheduling nightmare, and can put up with the lack of customer service. May 2: I put my request for microwave repair. May 3: They left a message at around 11 am on Monday, indicating that they had a technician in the area and could be there in a few minutes. That was too short notice and we requested for Friday. May 7: After 4 pm, called Apex to find out where was the technician. He showed up around 4:30 pm and changed the diode. That didn't fix it so, a magnetron had to be ordered. May 14: Apex called to say some one could be out with the part on Monday between 9 am - 1pm. We told them first or last part of the day. May 17: Apex called to say some one could be out on Wednesday between 11 am - 3 pm. Told them again that first or last part of the day, so it was scheduled for Friday. May 21: Apex technician showed up at 9 am and replaced the magnetron. The technician checked before he left that it was working (10 am). I used the microwave at 1:30 pm and it didn't heat. Called Apex immediately. They said they'd call back. Hadn't heard from them by 3 pm, so called Apex. Had to explain to a different person the problem. They indicated that some one could be out Monday between 9 am - 1 pm. We couldn't and once again requested Friday. The person said hesitantly they'd put us down for Friday (28th). May 25: Apex left a message that some one was coming out Thursday between 11 am - 3 pm. We called them back and left a message that Friday was good for 9 am - 1 pm. May 27: Hadn't heard from Apex, so called them at 4 pm to confirm when they were coming on Friday. The person said they weren't coming out and that she wouldn't change the schedule for one customer. I said I'd talk to the manager. She said he wasn't there and I could call back if I wanted to see if the manager answers. The home warranty company would not send out a different company, so I had the them call Apex. They did, but had to leave a message for them to call me. May 28: I called the warranty company and had them call Apex to try to schedule something. We got between 9 am and 1 pm on Memorial Day. May 31: Technician showed up and after some looking around said it needed a new capacitor which would need to be ordered. June 2: Apex called to send some one out on Friday. We couldn't, so requested Monday morning. June 4: We called several times on Friday and only got the answering machine. Left a message to find out if they were coming out on Monday. June 7: Apex called at 1 pm saying the technician would be there in 40 minutes. Having endured the nightmare, dropped everything at work and rushed home. The technician ended up re-replacing the diode.
Description of Work: Repaired over-the-range GE Spacemaker microwave. The microwave would not heat, though the fan, lights, and turntable worked. They replaced the magnetron once and the diode twice.

The service is going terribly. Made the appointment through my home insurance, took a week to get someone out and order the parts. Called again and the parts were never ordered. I just called a third time and the blades are out of stock. I am three weeks in and still no fixed dishwasher. They never call me, I have to call them.

They are awful. Non-responsive, their staff is unprofessional and they did not complete the repair effectively. The first technician sent to the home was not capable of completing the repair and the second technician was a no show. I switched vendors.
Description of Work: They were called out for a repair to a large kitchen appliance within my home.
