The instillation was quick. The equipment looks nice and the whole thing wasn’t too expensive. The system works really well so far. Very happy with it. AOK is also very easy to communicate with and easy to work with.

Kevin did a bang-up job installing my Clack/Vortex system - both valve and cylinder housing made in the USA with 10-year warranty. Due to COVID19, I thought I would have to settle for less than the best, but Kevin managed to get me what his best recommendation. AOK is easy to work with, professional and affordable.

Would highly recommend. Kevin gave me a fair estimate on both fixing the old system that was way over its expected life and for a new system. I compared Kevin’s offers to other provider’s and Kevin’s price was really competitive and the system he offered was among the best in the market. Kristie was able to schedule Kevin the next day and he installed the system in no time. Kevin took the time to explain everything once the work was done. I am going to give his salt service a try.

I am so glad that I met Kristie and Kevin! Having relocated from Europe in a brand new house left me wondering how I could find the right company to install those two equipments in my new house without making mistake. From the very beginning Kristie was awesome, she provided me with tons of information, during few days I took to make the decision she was always available to answer all my questions (and I had quite a few). Once I gave it a go, that was fast, Kevin arrived home (with a truck I die for) and did all the installation. A real pro. When Kristie did the quotation over the phone, few things required extra work from Kevin, the water softener required an electrical plug that was not readily available and the evacuation was on the other side of the garage; regarding the reverse osmosis, the fridge being opposite from the sink, again it took quite some time to hook it so Kevin had to come back a second time to finish all the work. All this was done with no surcharge. (And the second time I had the pleasure to meet Kristie). Kristie and Kevin are reliable, they keep their word and things are straightforward. I wish all installations/contractors could do business the way they do. They deliver what they promised, it is as simple as that and they are super friendly. I highly recommend them, the whole experience is perfect, do not look further for water services.

Having recently purchased a home in St. Petersburg that did not have an installed water softener, we immediately went about searching for a business that specialized in water softener installations. And having been happy with previous recommendations we got on Angie's List, Iweimmeidately came here. The listing for AOK popped to the top of the list and after reading the otherreviews and seeing that they were close by (we like doing business locally whenever possible), we called for an estimate. Kevin came out and gave a thorough, easy to understand explanation of our options so we chose him to do the work with no hesitation. He is very personable and professional; and after the installation, we chose to have him continue our bi-monthly salt replenishment.

AOK has my highest recommendation. I had 3 companies provide estimates for the project. AOK/Kevin was by far the most prepared and professional. Not only did AOK have the best price, but I was extremely impressed with their customer focus. Kevin took the time to answer concerns about where to install the unit and was able to make “on the spot” commitments regarding prices, modifications, and scheduling the installation - without having to call their manager or go back to the office to write up an estimate. AOK/Kristie provided courteous reminders for the installation date/time as well as the follow-up salt service. Kevin’s plumbing expertise was definitely evident in how efficiently he installed and serviced the unit.

My water softener (which I inherited from my grandmother) was stuck in an endless purge cycle, so I called the man who installed it, but he was no longer in business. I looked on Angie's list for another merchant. I found AOK and the reviews looked good, I liked that it was a family-owned company, and the prices that people paid were in my feasible range. I made the appointment to have my softener looked at, and Kevin showed up a few minutes early. We reviewed my options, and we determined that my system, which was not new when I inherited it a few years ago, was too old to fix for a price that made sense. Replacing the entire system cost only $250 more than repairing, so I went for it. I was at work, but my roommate was home when Kevin returned to make the repair. He said the water would be out for a couple of hours, but it was less time than that. The water has been even softer than it was before ever since. Very happy with my purchase! The grade of B for price merely means that I had not intended to pay that much; it is not meant as a criticism of AOK's prices. The grade of B for Quality reflects minor complaints, like leaving the soil turned over and piled up around the softener, leaving an empty sports drink bottle, leaving the cord from the old system balled up on the ground, etc. They were really minor annoyances; I would use AOK again in a heartbeat.

Finding someone to install a water softener seems like one of those tasks where you can easily find yourself in trouble because of sales people wanting to sell you expensive equipment that is not needed and/or getting someone who provides shoddy workmanship. After seeing the stellar reviews on Angie's List for AOK Water Services, I gave them a call. Kevin and Kristie came out, and we talked about my options. They had a cost sheet with simple pricing, and there were no high pressure sales tactics. Our discussion was more like talking with a knowledgeable good neighbor that you have known for years. I did not need to interview any other company. We scheduled the installation at a time convenient for me. Unfortunately, on the day of installation, it was raining heavily and my unit was being installed outside. Kristie contacted me plenty of time in advance of my appointment and rescheduled for a time that was good for me. Kevin came out on time and had the unit installed and working with no issues within the timeframe communicated. If you need a water softener, I urge you to call AOK. Not only are the prices reasonable and their professionalism is of the highest standard, but they also have a healthy respect for the men and women who serve in our military.

I am extremely impressed with Kevin and his company. I could not have asked for a better experience. For the first time in years we are able to drink water out of our faucet. Kevin is very knowledgeable, professional and responsive to our calls. I definitely recommend this company for your water needs.

He showed up a few days later as scheduled and did a clean and quick installation. I elected to use his bi-monthly service to keep my bin filled with salt and to maintain the softener as well.
