+ -1 moreI've been with Wilkes Landscape Services for about 8 years but we're going to be stopping it. They are very punctual, come when they're supposed to and very dedicated. I even spoke to Mr. Wiles the other day and I called him several times last Summer, my husband called him in the Fall and whenever we would want something extra which we know we have to pay for, of course, we're not getting anything free and he never calls me back for that and his reason was he forgets. I point-blank asked him "do you not want to have us as a customer?" He said "well no because there's not just a lot of business in Palms." A mutual friend we have, any time our mutual friend calls him to do something he's right out there. I think he's a good person but he is obviously not a good business person. I just was very disappointed with the response I had.
Description of Work: They do our yard. They cut the yard, edge and all that.

Description of Work: We hired Wilkes in January 2005 to perform monthly lawn services including mowing, trimming of shrubbery, and weed eating. Our property is located on the Alafia River with a small front yard and a large backyard. The crew is always punctual and professional. The only issue we have had with Wilkes is when we want something "extra" done in our yard (such as new shrubbery), we do not get a call back in a timely manner. Tom Wilkes is a great owner and very professional, which is why seven years later, his company is still employed by us!

+ 0 moreI had a very good experience with them. I chose them because of the reviews they received. I was most pleased with the fact that the owner handles a lot things and is on site while the work is being done. He came out to do an estimate and he listened to what we wanted to do and what amount we wanted to spend on this project. He wrote up a quote free of charge so we could compare it with other companies and then call him out when we decided what we wanted to do. He stayed within his quote which was very nice. He took a lot of time to understand what we wanted to do and how much we wanted to spend, and he provided a lot of feedback and ideas for us.
Description of Work: We sort of had a jungle in the front yard that needed to be cleared out. Wilkes Landscape Services redid it and made it a much nicer area, and they put in a small paver patio with a crushed shell in one area.
