BLADES OF GREEN

Description of Work: Based on a positive experience we had with Total Source Tree Service & Landscaping four years ago, we contacted them again to trim our trees. Two men came to give an estimate. They said that Blades of Green Landscaping and Total Source had combined resources. We walked the property and pointed out that all of the dead wood needed to be trimmed from the trees and that three nearly dead trees needed to be removed. We agreed on a price of $1400. No paperwork was exchanged because we trusted them from our previous experience. They estimated that the work would require one to one and a half days to complete. The workmen arrived at the appointed time. They removed the three nearly dead trees. They then asked for the money which we gave them in the form of a check. We expected to see them the following day. This was in spring. It is now August and we have never seen or heard from them again. I have called fourteen times. On four occasions "Mark" answered the phone saying that he thought the work had been done and that he wanted us to be happy. We would arrange a day and time and no one ever showed up again. All other calls to him and the office were ignored. 813-541-6004 and 813-751-6452. There is no address on the brochure. Needless to say, they simply stole money from us by not finishing the work and lying to us.
