The work that was done, exceptional. They painted our exterior house and it looks amazing. They were on spot with every little detail from start to finish. They also painted our cement pool deck and it looks better than it did when it was first put in. You couldn't ask for two nicer guys. If you want great work, a reasonable price, then look no further. Larry and Gary at Nelson Brothers are one of the best out there. You won't be disappointed.

We selected the Nelson Brothers out of 5 contractors based primarily on the strength of their Angie's List reviews and their site visit to estimate the job. Garry and Larry came and spent over an hour with us discussing the job and trying to understand exactly what we wanted and expected. Other contractors were in and out within 30 minutes. The job was estimated at 3 weeks, started on schedule and was completed on time. The quality of their work and attention to detail was exactly what we had in mind to go along with our new hardwood floors. They cleaned up very well each day and ensured there was no staining on the new flooring. At the end of each day Garry spent time with me to review the day's progress and lay out the plan for the next day. In addition, both brothers were very responsive to any issues we had and did a great job addressing all of them. Our house looks fantastic! We're very happy we chose the Nelson Brothers and you will be too if you want a high quality job at a fair and reasonable price. Thanks Garry & Larry!

Painting of the exterior was scheduled to for June 9-11th but due to afternoon rain, the project was pushed into the 12th. The painting came out beautiful and gave extra attention to details - i.e. caulked around windows to make sure they got clean lines while painting. Very professional and great price! We would definitely recommend and/or hire them again!

They started Monday, and they finished Thursday. They did an fantastic job. They were meticulous, prompt, hard working, professional, fun, and courteous. We felt very good about them being in our house. They did an fantastic job. It looks very beautiful. They picked up after themselves. They left the place immaculate.

We received several quotes for our large (2 story, 2500 sq ft) home, and the Nelson Brothers prices were very reasonable compared to other contractors in the area. We selected them because they are an all inclusive service - they did cleaning, painting, prepping and even minor repair work - like wood rot. They spent three solid weeks on our home, arrived promptly every morning, and cleaned up at the end of every day. Throughout the process we had several new requests (even added on painting our large pool deck), and they were extremely accommodating with the extra requests - any add on prices were extremely reasonable. We were very particular about making sure that every hole was patched, every nail was removed, and every surface was painted evenly, and the Nelson Brothers were always detail oriented and not shy to correct mistakes if we pointed something out. They also did a bang up job refreshing our garage doors - both inside and out. The doors were rusting pretty badly, and the Nelson Brothers primed/prepped/painted, and the doors look brand new. They also were flexible with communication styles - and were easy to reach over phone, email, or text messaging, which was helpful. I would highly recommend them, and would not hesitate to use for another job in the future.

Larry was awesome. Friendly, accommodating, fast response, professional and helpful. His price was the lowest out of 3 estimates that I had. The job was well-done and the house was left clean after the job. He went beyond my expectations. Fixed some minor paint errors left by the old owner without charging me extra. He took pride in his job and made sure his customers are satisfied. So glad I've found a honest yet good painter.

From the very start Larry was a real professional. He was careful to make sure we had a mutual understanding of the project’s scope of work. He was diligent about keeping the house clean every day. The bedrooms had some drywall damage and Larry repaired the sections beautifully. The painting was completed on schedule and on budget. Very pleased with his work and work ethic.

Garry is a very honorable, nice man. He did all work himself. We enjoyed his presence at our home and miss having him arrive each morning now that the job is completed.

Larry was professional, reliable and most importantly, the pride in his workmanship is something I'll enjoy in my new home for many years to come. The wallpaper walls were not textured underneath so the job was bigger than expected however Larry had warned me of all case scenarios before we started so while it wasn't great news to find out he had extra steps to do (for either of us), he made me aware, up front and I was prepared. Trusted him in my home alone with complete access and with the most expensive purchase I've ever made, my new house. I would have had him do more rooms if he had been available, will use him again, and while I have to give Larry an exceptional review (joined Angie's List to do it as I got him through my realtor) sorta hope he doesn't get so booked I'll never get him again due to availability. Just kidding - Larry is a great man and provided great service. If you're in need and lucky enough to have him paint your home, consider yourself lucky!!! I do!

The whole process went really well. I ended up having to move in shortly after he started, and that was not the original plan. He worked around me, and all the chaos that goes with moving. I have a small dog and he was really good with him and I completely trusted him with the house and dog when I was not there. In fact, I think my dog still misses him! Even though it ended up taking a few days longer than he thought it would he did not change the price. He is very professional, courteous, and a genuinely nice person who cares about the quality of work.

Larry was great....he always showed up on time, completed the work in time frame he quoted and we thought his price was very good. He did such a good job that we are having him come back to paint our kitchen cabinets. He was very tidy and left everything clean when he was finished. Can't say enough good things about our experience.

Larry did a great job. A+ quality. Ive had some painters start off great and then as the job goes on gets sloppy. Larry did A+ work from start to finish, was on time, professional, and cleaned up after. Would definitely use again and would recommend to friends and family.

Perfect. Larry showed up exactly on time and completed the job exactly as planned. He was very meticulous about his work, and I am definitely planning on having him back to do some more painting in a month or so.

Excellent - Larry was great! He worked me into his busy schedule and went back several times until finished, working it in with his other jobs. He painted several interior walls, repaired sheetrock and painted, casita exterior doors, even touched up an exterior stucco area and courtyard gate. The paint job looks very good and makes our home look so much nicer! Gary completed the job independently. He took time to make sure any holes that needed to be patched were patched. Since this was a rather large job he informed us each day what areas would be completed and what to expect. He cleaned up each area he worked in daily. Gary was very professional. He provided great service and a great price.

Very happy with all the work performed and would highly recommend Nelson Brothers Painting. We live in an older home and Garry was very knowledgeable about the methods and materials needed to make it all look new again. Along the way he took the time to educate the wife and I about the different issues he encountered and what our options were to deal with them. Garry was very patient with us when it came to choosing the right colors. I came to trust his advice very much and of course, our home has never look better. The job started on time, progressed in a timely fashion, and ended on time with no surprises and no excuses.
