Description of Work: Closing up about 8 square feet of drywall, texturing, painting. Larry was able to work around my schedule, splitting the job up over three days, at no extra charge! He was on time, under budget, and outstanding from start to finish. I also loved that he took his shoes off before entering my house without it ever being mentioned.

Description of Work: In mid February Nelson Brothers (NB) was invited to provide an estimate to |paint our primary residence (3400 sq. ft.)and a second building (415 sq. ft.) |which serves as a boathouse/workshop. On 2/19/15 Gary Nelson made a thorough |inspection of both buildings noting that they were covered with paint thirsty |T111 siding. He suggested a satin finish paint would be more moisture resistant than the flat stain that was previously applied. Gary responded |with an email estimate on 2/24/15.Although we received a verbal estimate |from a second reliable source my wife and I decided to go with NB based on |a strong recommendation from a friend who was familiar with NB's work. | The job started on 3/9/15 and ended on 3/24/15 with Gary doing all |the work except for 2 half days of help from a friend painter. One day was |lost due to rain. He painted all previously painted surfaces including 3 |garage doors.gutters and down spouts. My wife and I felt that it was as though he was painting his own home. | Before the job was started there was some indecision on our part about |3 different paint colors. Gary settled the issue by generously applying samples of the colors in question to one of the T111 panels. That quickly |ended the paint color issue.

They worry about every little detail and you get a free education on what it takes to do the perfect painting job. Customer relations, punctuality, value, and cleanup were all superb. Our highest recommendation. We learned about them from a friend who is quite the perfectionist after they performed a major painting job for him.
Description of Work: Completely repainted the interior of a recently purchased townhouse. Also added in some minor drywall patching, garage and entry concrete floors, then they pressure washed the outside.

+ -1 moreWe called the Nelson Brothers for an extimate to paint our exterior brick. They came either that day or the next, I can not remember. Their estimate was very fair. We were in a crunch to get the work done because of some construction we are doing. Larry and Garry worked with us although their schedule was already tight. They came when they said they would and did an excellent job. They were very friendly and courteous and cleaned up every day and at the end of the job. We are very happy with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them.
Description of Work: The Nelson Brothers cleaned, caulked, sealed and painted our exterior brick including one wall that is over 20 feet high.

+ -1 moreGarry and his brother are very highly skilled painters, they have painted not only my house when I did a full renovation a few years ago but have also maintained my office for several years. They are nice to work with and are respected artists in their field. One thing we really noticed was how long their work has lasted. I 've had painters in the past who used cheaper paint and we had to repaint more often. The Nelson brothers obviously use the highest quality paints that last longer than I have seen before. When they leave for the day, the area has been thoroughly cleaned, a pleasant surprise that we have not always experienced in others. Overall, I highly recommend The Nelson Brothers for the discriminating home or business owner. I would also want you to know that I felt very comfortable having them in my house and office when I wasn't there.

Description of Work: I needed a couple of rooms painted and some exterior work done. The Nelsons do a great job and their work lasts. They also painted the exterior and all the interior rooms in 2007 when I had my home remodeled.
