For us they tore out a wall fireplace, replaced it with a sliding glass patio door, added an 8' by 2' hurricane glass window high above the sliding door, redid a deck in synthetic planks, tiled a screen porch, installed LVP flooring throughout, painted interior walls and trim, redid a bathroom and redid lighting in kitchen, loft , bedroom and living areas with dimmable LED puck lights. Very professional and we love the results. Jordan's plans and estimates were right-on, Scott's construction was top notch and Jennifer's advice was priceless. We highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreWe had a guest bathroom renovated and two windows in our living room elongated for better views (see before and after photos), and Jordan and GP definitely came through. The workmanship is outstanding, and everyone was very professional. Our project lead Zack was new to the company, but he was very knowledgeable and reliable. He was great at communicating with us, and we always knew what to expect and when to expect it. The only real issue we had was regarding the price of the shower tile/bathroom countertop, which turned out to be over budget though we remember being told it wouldn't be. Jordan made everything right and honored our original agreement. Many companies would not have done that, and they'll definitely get our repeat business because of that. My only advice to them would be to put the actual tile and countertop pricing in writing beforehand. Otherwise, we couldn't be happier with their work and their company.

+ 0 moreJSS started working to provide an estimate while we were still in Germany awaiting return from a military assignment. Jordan, the owner provided detailed estimates of the cost and timeline. The delivery of floor tiles we had bought on our own to match the existing tiles was delayed 37 days due to shipping and customs issues. That caused disruptions that impacted kitchen and bathroom tile and appliance installation. Jordan's flexibility and responsiveness was outstanding. The job was finished to our complete satisfaction. Jordan ensures the job meets expectations and his crews leave a clean work area. He fully stands by his promise that the finished product has to be 100% correct. Very happy with the results.

+ 2 moreNew to Angie's list so I decided to rate my favorite contractor. I have used JSS Construction several time for condo remodels and a complete home remodel. My most recent remodel was 2 years ago. Jordan and his crew are true craftsmen and customer service professionals. I've never met a company as sincerely concerned with customer satisfaction throughout the process as JSS. I've used other contractors for services not provided by JSS and feel like a babysitter ready to pay them to leave. 2 years later, 2 hurricanes and zero returns needed to address materials or quality. I recommend JSS to all my family and friends and encourage people to see the quality of work by JSS. Very proud of what they have done for me on every job.

+ 3 moreWorking with JSS was a pleasure. We had a large project for a foreclosure that we purchased. Jordan and his team helped me work through the scope of work that needed to be done. This included needed repairs to the home, things my wife and I wanted to change, and then offering design choices for us to consider to help us achieve the vision for the home. Once he got started the team was off to races demolishing the kitchen, bathrooms, and removing flooring. Most of the work was performed by JSS employees, with only specialized work being subcontracted out, which was a huge peace of mind for me. Any issues that arose JSS responded to promptly. Jordan was available to me 24/7 and very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. Would highly recommend.

They did the tear-out of the shower and tile floor with little noise and little mess. At the end of each day, everything was neat & tidy, and all debris removed--not easy since I live in a condo. Their slogan is "we do it all" and they can and do! Not only would I use them again, I highly recommend them.

As mentioned previously, the contractor completed all tasks in an outstanding manner and could have easily completed the entire project within their estimated 3-week timeline, if it wasn?t because we had our very own challenges in picking the right granite stone, backsplash, and wall paint selections. Thankfully, Jordan was able to adjust his work timeline, allowing us all the time we needed to make our desired selections. We must make mention of the outstanding quality of workmanship they provide, with every little detail and they do accommodate your every wish. Above all and an impressive experience for me, was the fact that I endured the entire remodel, while living in the home and it was truly amazing, how quickly and clean they were. Each and every day, once they got done with the day?s tasks, they cleaned up and returned the home to an uncluttered and comfortable state. If you are looking to do any type of remodeling (kitchen, bathroom, or general in nature), don?t hesitate to give JSS Construction (Jordan) a serious consideration?he won?t disappoint your expectations.
Description of Work: Jordan (owner) & Scott (partner), provided us with detailed kitchen remodeling plans and pricing, as requested. Later, we expanded our remodel plans to include giving a facelift to the entire living areas of our home. We requested major remodeling of our kitchen, which included removal of walls, old cabinets, old floor tile, installation of new window, addition of new can and pendant lighting, and rebuilding our large pantry closet to accommodate a new refrigerator. For the living areas upgrade, we requested removal of popcorn ceiling with a knockdown style; clean & patch all walls and repaint the entire inside of the house (excluding bedrooms & bathrooms; install new front and side doors, and removal of sliding glass door to be replaced with a set of French doors…basically, a complete transformation of our home. Once the final details were agreed upon, Jordan indicated that it would take them approximately 3 weeks to complete the entire project. We were skeptical about the timeline, due to the horror stories we have heard from family and friends who had recently done remodeling of their homes previously. The contractor (JSS Construction did all we requested and more).
