Description of Work: We have put off writing this review for many months because of the odd circumstances surrounding it all. In May of 2015 we hired Mark Ebner to design and install a new counter top and sink in our master bath. All went well and we were very satisfied at the time of installation. We then contacted the local plumber that we have used for many years to install the new sink fixtures. However, when we ran water into the sink it leaked. Mark Ebner insisted that the plumbing had not been installed properly, so we called the plumbing company back. The son of the owner rechecked the plumbing and certified that it was all correct. He even laid on his back under the sink to check the sink bowl and took a picture with his cell phone which clearly showed that the sink was damaged and an effort had been make to repair the damage. When we showed the photo to Mark Ebner he immediately replaced the defective sink. Since we had no way of confirming where or when the damage had been done we were hesitant to blame Mark for not noticing this and replacing the sink before accusing the plumbers of poor installation. Perhaps the damage was done in China where the sink was made, in its transport, or at "Design Surfaces". We were hesitant to say who was at fault, but it did cost us two extra visits by the plumber before the second sink was installed. We have given "Design Surfaces" a "C" rating for not spotting the damage before installing the first sink although all our other dealings with Mark Ebner have been satisfactory. This was a difficult review to write and assign "blame", which is why we have taken so long to send our evaluation. Annetta and Kenneth F

Description of Work: They installed granite counters and a window sill. They even came back as a courtesy when I decided to get a hole for my soap dispenser

Description of Work: Installed granite countertops in kitchen at a reasonable price. Work was done promptly and professionally and to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: I had countertops replaced after a kitchen fire. The contractor was OK and given a previous "kind" review. I don't remember the details very well regarding how I rated him but I did report that we did have a disagreement regarding the sink baskets. He was putting in cheap silver baskets into a beautiful black granite sink. He became furious and accused me of trying to defraud my insurance company and refused to sign a lien release for the insurance company. I will be forced to file a small claims and possibly other charges for the horrible way in which this man is treating me. I suppose he can do excellent work but don't you dare criticize him. He is the playground bully.
