A Reliable Pool Service, Inc

It went amazingly. So much so that we've been using their services ever since! They really do a great job maintaining and cleaning the pool and system. Due to storms, we've needed the system unclogged, baskets replaced, leaks fixed...etc, and they've always been addressed!!

Greg came out and cleaned the existing pool filter and recommended I buy a new one because this one had run its course - the pool was just not circulating well. He installed a new salt chlorinator and ensured everything didn't leak before leaving the job. He and Tyler were very conscientious - I was not home when they installed it. Cleaned up and locked all of the garage doors and fence before they left. Definitely would recommend.

We started in mid-May and it's been a great experience! Highly recommend them.

He came and serviced our pool 4 times during the day when we were not there. The first time I wasn't sure he had even come as he didn't leave any note etc. I spoke with him and next time he left a card and thereafter left a little slip to let us know he was there. The chemical balancing seemed fine but we purchased the "Big Deal" which was for 4 Pool servicing for $45. I read some good reviews and he has many repeat customers that continue to use him. I did not actually meet him but spoke with him on the phone. The main issue we had was that the "Deal" says it included the following: service include cleaning of the Pool as well? Pool services included are vacuuming, skimming, brushing, chemical balance, cleaning of pump basket and filter, weekly chemical test, and visual inspection of equipment. The problem was I don't believe all of those other items besides the chemical test/balance were completed. I know one time after he was there I came home and the pool was definitely not vacuumed at all. Not sure if I was supposed to specifically ask that all of these items be completed in detail. I did bring it up with him and he came back a 5th time to check up on things. He seems like a good guy and works well with coming when he says he will and pool chemical servicing but not sure about the other stuff. (as I am not sure if any of that was done as none of the options were ever mentioned on the paper left as completed). I did contact him about doing further service or to find out the normal prices for cleanings but he responded once that he would give me a call but hasn't. So if he doesn't want any return business I will find some elsewhere. My recommendation is make sure you explicitly define what you want done or know what is involved and probably you should be there when someone comes to service to verify.

I was new to the area and pools so I thought it would be a good way to try out a new service. Trey arrived on time. I'd just purchased the home and the pool was beginning to go out of balance. He tested the water and treated it, cleaned the pool, answered all my questions, and made an extra trip back later that week to make sure the pool was coming back around. Thereafter he returned weekly and did a great job of cleaning, again answered all my first time pool owner questions, make some recommendations. I have completed my discounted set of services and have retained the company to continue to care for my pool.

The service call went about as good as I could have expected it to. They arrived a little earlier than expected (which was good for me) and completed the work quickly. In addition, they answered all my questions and gave me tips on how to diagnose and treat issues in the future. I signed up for Angie's list to find a highly rated pool company, and I plan to stick with A Reliable Pool Service for all my future pool needs.

My pool had been allowed to turn green, due to my own negligence, as I had sustained a knee injury and required surgery. I opted for their $45 special on Angie's List, just to help me get my pool back on track while I was expected to stay off my feet for a few weeks. This was a steal for ~4 visits that month. I explained my situation to them upon first meeting them and indeed they were able to get my pool back on track by the time I was able to pick up the task again myself.

In a word, FANTASTIC! On a scale of 1-10, a 15! Its been a long time since I've met someone as professional and caring as A Reliable Pool Service. I am hard to please and usually find some kind of issue with most services, but they went above and beyond the norm and I am pleased 100% and would recommend them to everyone. They deserve an A+ rating.

Excellent service! I tried the special ( four cleaning so for $ 45) and based upon my experience from that I selected A Reliable to be my regular pool service company.

After a couple of weekly visits, found that a new filter was needed to bring the vacuuming equipment to peak performance. Very professional and friendly. Knowledgable. Pool maintenance stress now a thing of the past. Great investment!

I called and asked for them to come out and give an estimate on fixing a leaking/clogged pool pump. They came out broke it down and gave me a quote part by part. Very professional to talk with and explained everything. He said he had to order the parts, and would come back the following week to complete. The following week just as he said, he came out repaired the pump, left no mess, and simple left the invoice for us. It was even less than the original quote. The pump has been working great! I would easily use them again as well as recommend them to anyone in the area.

The initial cleaning resulted in a long term relationship that exist today. This company is reliable and professional.

It was a big deal purchase and they were fantastic. He does everything and he’s the best I've ever had. They make it always look nice. They put the chemicals in there and do what they have to do. Whatever they have to do they do it and my pool just looks wonderful. I would recommend them to my friends and family because they are not the only ones I've had and I've had several but they are just the best. They know what they are doing. They do a damn good job the money. They do a damn good job for the money. I will never change them.

It turned out good so far. No issues. The last cleaning service didn't clean the pool. Now every Wednesday I come home from work the pool is clean.

He missed cleaning the filter once. I should have laid it up front how many times he was going to clean the filter. Everthing else was good. Very nice man.

It went very well. But won't need them for the winter months. Though could use them during the spring and summer months to supplement my husband's work.

Owner showed up on time for initial evaluation and cleaning. Explained all services to be provided and gave me his contact info in the event of any issues. Even with rain last couple of weeks, our newly resurfaced pool looks great. So far, so good!

I took advantage of the four pool cleanings for $45 about six months ago. Recently I was away on vacation for a few weeks and decided to buy the deal again as I wasn't going to be home. After a week of playing phone tag with this company they finally called me back and said the deal was only supposed to be one per customer. They said they could not honor me buying deal again. He explained the deal he has with Angie's List and I totally understand. Trey is a good guy. Just need my $45 back, thanks.

Overall I am happy with their service. They are a little more expensive than I like, but they do a good job with the work.
