Description of Work: Slow to respond! We did received an estimate from them, but they did not respond after two or three calls. After other attempts they still failed to respond. We decided to peruse another provided and that is when they finally returned the call after it was too late.

Description of Work: "Due a problem with a leak over our garage, we needed to have our asphalt shingle roof repaired. At the beginning of May, I called a number of roofers, but some were not taking any new customers & some were booked 3-6 weeks out to come take a look at the roof, plus one charged to do this. Nick Zoller called came to check this problem for us in early May 2016 at no charge. He inspected the entire roof, taking pictures on his smartphone. He showed us the hole over the garage leak area plus several other problem areas he discovered, including a major problem behind our chimney where the adjacent wall siding was showing wet rot. Based on that information plus the fact that our roof was 18 years old (with 20 years generally being the top end of a shingled roof's lifespan), we opted to have the entire roof redone. Nick took measurements & within a week e-mailed us a quote, contract & his company insurance info. The work commenced in mid-June & took a full week, partly due to some rain showers. The clean-up took another day the following week also due to rain delay. The workers arrived promptly on the first day & after several full days of work, came to complete the work in shifts, allowing time for in-progress inspections, delivery of shingles, etc. The scope of the work was explained at the outset & any questions we asked both before, during & after were answered to our satisfaction. We received a copy of the final inspection when we made our payment. We also received a roof mitigation inspection as part of the job, which is sent to our property insurance company for possible premium discounts. We made sure to get an extra package of shingles to have handy just in case of any possible future damage from storms, trees, etc. | |The re-roofing went pretty much as we expected, although we didn't realize it would require a few areas to be recaulked (lanai skylights) or spackled (a few sheet rock nails up at the top of our 14' cathedral ceilings pushed out) by our handyman afterward. It was a good thing we decided to have the re-roof done now as 9 full sheets of plywood had to be replaced (the ones I saw being removed looked pretty bad) &, I expect, would have caused some major problems in the next few years had we only repaired the 2 obvious damaged areas. In summary, we feel it was a job well done at a fair price & we would highly recommend Zoller Roofing."

+ -1 moreWe had some difficulty coordinating the work date because of mutual schedule conflicts, but it worked out very well. I would use them again. They cleaned the roof and gutters as well as picking up all of the large left overconstruction material after finishing. I was really pleased.
Description of Work: Replaced leaking skylight and roofing around it and roof vents. Put in a wind resistant skylight, which accounted for some of the cost.

+ -1 more. B R A V O ! Nick Zoeller, wow, surprise, surprise, there are still good men out there and here is one of them. An ever so slight leak into the garage has sprung during the recent super high levels of humidity, especially after Trop. storm Debbie. I called a roofer recommended to me, it took them 5 weeks to come out, they were that busy. Got an opinion and an estimate for a considerable amount of money ... I was ready to go with it, but ... they would once again give me a lead time for "repairing the roof" of 5 weeks out which prompted me to get a second opinion/estimate from another roofer. I checked Angie's list and found Zoeller Roofing with very encouraging reviews. Nick came out the next day, spent considerable time crawling into every tight spot in the attic etc. - I got good news and I got bad news he said. The good news is "You don't have a leaking roof," you have a AC issue, your piping insulation going from the compressor to the air handler is old/bridle and leaks condensation at two bend points. You need an AC guy to replace that insulation and you will be good to go. We shook hands and Nick left, an AC guy came out, problem fixed for under $ 300. HOW IS THAT FOR HONESTY AND AMAZING SERVICE ORIENTATION.Thank you Nick Zoller, you are in a league of your own and I am telling all my friends about this.

Description of Work: The whole roof was replace with metal. Nick's crew ripped up the old and replaced some rotted wood before installing the new metal roof. He quoted me the unexpected damage but it was reasonable.

+ -1 moreAs a recently retired CEO, I was accustomed to making the hiring decisions on major building renovations and new construction projects. I had the advantage of knowing my market. I knew the vendors; their work, their owners and their reputations. But as a new resident to Florida, I was at a disadvantage of not knowing either the area or the business community. As soon as I purchased my home here in Sarasota, I joined Angie's List to help me get the inside track on the various local service providers. I chose to interview five well-reviewed and recommended companies to bid out my roof and requested quotes for both shingle and metal options. Deciding on the material was the easy part. Choosing my contractor was a much tougher decision as I received five, legitimate, professional and competitive quotes. I requested several references from each and checked their histories with the BBB. Price was the driving factor behind my decision but it came down to customer service. I chose Nick Zoller because he was the one that worked the hardest for my business and won my trust. I recall him saying to me specifically, "Kirby, what can I do to get this job"? He was persistent in his follow up but not to the point of bother. He went the extra mile and he stood out. Ultimately, Zoller Roofing offered a fair and honest price and had provided me with the confidence that he and his crew were the best company to do to the job. After our verbal agreement, Nick came over with the paperwork for the contract and we reviewed the timeline and of the scope of work. Once the construction started, I received a daily progress report from his foreman, Bill, who was on-site for the entire job. Both he and Nick kept me in the loop on any findings, changes or potential delays. As the owner, Nick impressed me by personally coming to check on the job in its various stages. Throughout the project his crew was on time, professional, and respectful and kept a clean and tidy worksite. They know their craft and did excellent, quality work. All of the inspections have been completed and I am very pleased with the job and most importantly, my wife has given her seal of approval. + -1 moreI had to help my mother replace her 40+ year old single barrel roof. Nick Zoller was one of three bids. One bid was way too high and Nick and another company came in with about the same price. But we chose Nick for two reasons. One we could understand his bid and two we enjoyed his interview. Nick is a very personable guy and he really put alot of our fears to rest. When we agreed on the contract and picked out the tile they went to work immediately. His staff was VERY professional. There was no loud music blaring and Nick always came and talked to my mom. The roof came out great and the grounds are immaculate. I can not believe how clean they kept the place. Also Mom's neighbor's called to say how impressed they were with the quality of work. They also coordinated with the solar panel company when it came time to resintall the panels. I would HIGHLY recommend Nick and his company to do anybody's roof.
