Description of Work: I use them every month. They do lawn service, tree trimming, bush trimming that sort of thing. It's $140 a month and they come 4 times a month, once a week. I have a drainage problem with water and they take care of that too.

+ -1 moreThey come every day for like the last 10 years. Their price is good. It’s on a monthly arrangement. It just depends on the size of the house; all my properties are completely different sizes.
Description of Work: I used Tropical Landscape Solutions. They do maintenance on 3 of my properties. They handle all landscaping needs. Mow, trim, I don’t know about fertilizer, but everything. They didn’t do mulch last week, but I’ve had them do it.

+ 0 moreThe team worked really h****** the back and the front of the property. I mentioned I wanted a tropical look. I got that back in pool area , but not so much in the front. A lot of flowering plants were installed which take a lot of maintenance and in this heat who wants to do that? I should have done more research on the plant material being installed. ( My bad). Also after 2 weeks one of the Hibiscus trees lost most of its leaves( the other was beautiful). After discussing it with the planner and sending pictures I was told the tree had leaf hoppers. I was told how to treat it and am thankful for that. It now has some leaves but no flowers. They wanted $200 to come out and replace a $40 tree. As was stated the crew did a great job however, I do not feel I got the front landscape which I envisioned.
Description of Work: Provided a plan for the front bed and the planting pocket by the pool. Trimmed magnolia tree, transplanted trees and plants, removed palm tree in the pool area, installed mulch, planting material, trees and plants. Removed all old plants tree and debris.

+ -1 moreI did not care for the inter phase with the owner. I told him specifically how much I was willing to spend for the job. He came back with a quote which was 25-30% higher than I was willing to spend, and he was slow to get back to me, slow to come out for the estimate, and he was supposed to get back to me with pictures of plants with the house, and he said that he couldn't find the pictures so he didn't send me the pictures.
Description of Work: I got a quote from Tropical Landscape Solutions. I wanted removal of a lot of the landscape that the builder had put in, and wanted a fresh look, so he was going to renovate the landscape along the front, and I had some minor work around the pool area.

Description of Work: The owner came out to set up the project and he is very personable. The work they did looked good, except a large plant, which matched another and which I thought would stay, was removed on one side of the sidewalk only, making the entry look lopsided and I had to tell them to remove three plants and put them where I had specified to the owner. Arrival was delayed on the first day they were to be here. Then I tried about five or six times to find out if they would care for the landscaping on a regular basis, say once or twice a month for a charge, of course. Could not get anyone to call me back. So my feelings were once they've done the job, they can't be bothered to even say "No, we don't do that" even though the receptionist/secretary assured me they did. Would not use again. Like folks with manners.

+ -1 moreVP of Tropical Landscape Solutions Dan Shulman arrived May 29th, 2013, as scheduled to give me a quote for tree trimming. The quote was reasonable, and the work was scheduled to be done on June 17th (Monday). He said he would be working with the crew the day of the job. I called them at 8:42 am the morning of the 17th to verify they were coming out, as I had received no confirmation call. I was told that no, they were not going to be there as they had become backlogged due to rain. The work was rescheduled for June 27th (Thursday). They did not show up a second time. I called and was told that Mr. Shulman was on vacation. I was asked if I wanted him to call me upon his return to reschedule the job for a third time.
Description of Work: The company's vice president came as scheduled May 29, 2013 to give me an estimate.

+ 1 moreWe were thrilled with every aspect of the work. Dan came and took pictures of our home. Then he sent computerized pictures of his relandscaping plan. The work was done in no time and we are thrilled with the results. We have also hired him for our weekly maintenance and our property never looked so good. Dan knows what he is doing as he has a degree in landscape architecture.
Description of Work: Tropical Landscape Solutions relandscaped my property. They added color and removed dying plants. Trees were trimmed and fertilized.
