Trademark Pavers

They are out of business. They shutdown without warning and stole thousands of dollars from people.

Arthur F. Borchert and wife Cynthia Borchert have stolen thousands and thousands of dollars from myself and others with no intentions of doing the job. Mid July, 2018 I contacted Trademark Pavers, also known as Art Design Pavers, for an estimate to install pavers on my walkway. Since this is a 2-person business, I assume the person who did the measurements was the owner and president of the company, Arthur Borchert. He came on Friday afternoon, took measurements, answered questions and said I'll email the estimate over the weekend. That didn't happen and I regret that I didn't leave it at that point. A week I called the office to ask about the estimate and it was promptly emailed to me that evening. July 30,2018 I went to the office on 17th Street in Sarasota, to make the deposit and arrange for work to begin. I was surprised at the length of the 6-page contract and such great detail of the same. Cynthia Borchert was over the top helpful, friendly, smiling, all the while she knowingly was stealing my money. I had been told it could take 4-8 weeks to receive materials for the job, and on 8/27/2018, four weeks after deposit was made, I called to ask about progress of work to be done - to my dismay the phone had been disconnected. I promptly drove to the office address on 17th street and was shocked to see it had been vacated. These two low-life thieves are scum, I have made complaints to Fla Dept. of Consumer affairs, and to Fla Attorney General. I am absolutely stunned that Arthur Borchert and Cynthia Borchert operate in such a manner without a blink of an eye and absolutely no conscience whatsoever.

Arthur, the owner was very nice giving the bid for the work. Unfortunately he is not the one to deal with following the bid. His wife, Cynthia is not at all interested in the clients. She is always rushed, does not return calls, She says "yes yes" and then does not remember or does not respond. We waited forever for them to schedule the work. The workers were not aware of what they were supposed to do and shortened our patio by 3 feet until we called and Arthur told them to expand it. Now there is an edge line 3 feet from the real edge of the patio. They also poured cement under the pavers and all along the edges of the patio, globs of cement have hardened. They never cleaned these off! When I called about it, Cynthia said she would call me back and of course never did. There are also loose pavers that clunk in their spaces when we walk on them. Some pavers have already cracked. This is shoddy work at best and I do not recommend this business at all.
