Tim discovered an issue with the operating mechanism. The service was excellent. The service was same-day. He called ahead of time.

Tim was great, came out the same day I called him. Explained my options before beginning. He spent about two hours adjusting everything so it worked to his satisfaction. At some point I expect the door will fail again, not because of Tim, but because what was installed by the prior owner was I'm sure the cheapest materials that could be purchased. If and when the door fails, Tim will be the guy I call to replace the whole system.

The two remotes for my garage doors were not working. Tim arrived the morning after my call to him and installed new boards in the opener units. He reprogramed my keypad and the openers are working fine. He inspected both doors and openers and advised that everything else looked fine. He did a great job at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Tim and will call him again as needs arise.

Tim's local company provided perfect service and politeness. He was available the day after my problem occurred. I would recommend his company be chosen above all others, and I (personally) would not hesitate to choose his company for all future work at my property. I did contact one other vendor before deciding on Tim Voss (who had a better price).

it went perfectly. he was on time, advised me of the options. (my motor was struggling to perform its function). tim may have been able to repair the motor but having been in a hot garage for 16 years, all the parts had become very brittle. it became obvious that a new garage door opener was the best long term alternative. tim replaced the: old door opener with a liftmaster, chain and rail, trolley, remotes, safety sensors and door control panel. he configured the communication between remotes and the garage opener, and tested the door to make sure it performed safely. he also installed new rollers for my double door. it's never sounded so quiet. he removed all the old hardware and packaging. all in all, i was extremely satisfied with the work he did and the back and forth communicaton.

We had no idea the spring had broken, and Tim was able to replace it and tuned up everything else in under 45 minutes!

We had some major renovations done on a rental property about 6 years ago, including installation of a garage door. About 3 years later the garage door was not working properly. We called Tim Voss to repair the garage door. He complained that the door was not installed properly. I asked him questions about the door installation explaining that it had been installed a few years ago. He got very defensive and angry that I was questioning his integrity. He made repairs to the door for $370. Fast forward 2 years and the door is not opening properly again so I called him to take a look at it. I also text him a copy the original invoice so he could see what had been done. He called me back and refused to perform any further repairs since I had questioned his integrity! Not the response I expect from a professional. .

Tim answered the phone early in the morning, gave us an estimate over the phone and came later that same morning (and actually arrived early). Tim was very professional, replaced the springs, checked the rest of the door opening system and lubed the rollers. Tim's charge was very reasonable and he charged us exactly what he quoted us on the phone. We will use Tim in the future if we need any other garage door service.

Tim was reliable, on-time and reasonably priced. He came out to install a remote/security/number pad to open garage door, programmed my car remote button and overlooked the entire system. He pointed out all the elements of our system and provided basic maintenance. I would highly recommend Tim.

It went great. Tim came out the morning after I called and was on time. He was very polite and knowledgeable about the problem and fixed it in a short time. Very good work for a great price. Would use for any future problems.

We had been having difficulty with our garage door opener. We called Tim Voss & he was able to come out the next day to check the unit we had and give us a quote. He was very honest. He said that he could do a tune up & we could get some more time out of it. However, we had done that before and didn't want to take a chance. He gave us a quote of $400 for the new unit, which included the outside keypad panel. The installation was quick and he programed all the remotes and keypad for us. After getting other quotes for way more, we knew it was a great deal. He is honest and doesn't over charge. His response was fast too. We are very happy and would recommend him to anyone.

My garage door wasn't closing properly., I bought a $39.00 tune up from another provider. They came out & didn't tune up anything but instead tried to sell me a new door for $900.00. I always get 3 estimates so I called Tim Voss. He tuned up both of my garage doors and now they are working fine. Tim is a pro that shows up on time, is knowledgeable, polite & neat in appearance. I will use him the next time & recommend him to my friends.

His service was amazing. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgable - will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs garage door service! We never felt he was trying to upsell us on anything. He did just what needed to be done and explained what we were getting and why we were getting it. Glad to know there are great service companies still out there like this one!

Tim and his associate came over when we indicated that our garage door was inoperable. He immediately determined that the capacitor was faulty and replaced it. He and his associate performed other maintenance on the system to make it run smoothly and quietly, eliminating the previous noisy operation. Tim is very knowledgeable in garage door operation.

Great job doing everything he could to make the best out of a big box store opener the previous owner had installed. We had a problem (due to my overpricing of buttons about a month later) and was very gracious in reassuring me to be patient and to follow programming steps. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!

I called first thing Monday morning to schedule the repair. I had one car trapped in the garage because one door spring broke and I couldn't open that door. When I talked to Tim it sounded like he already had a pretty full schedule, but he said he could fit me in. He said that he would be at my house at 11:00 in the morning. He showed up at 10:30 and he was done by 11:15. A very congenial staff, very efficient and professional.

Tim and his helper came early in the morning and removed my old garage door and motor and replaced with a hurricane rated insulated garage door. The installation went without a hitch. I am very happy with the door and the service that I got from them. Tim was very personable and professional. I would highly recommend.

called Tim on Saturday and he was here Monday AM. Wonderful experience. He fixed what I needed, did some maintenance, and added something I wanted. Great to deal with, excellent service, reasonable cost. Will definitely use him again.

Excellent responds time, Tim arrived early the next day. Fair price. However, although the Angie's List ad lists credit cards as a payment option, be aware he only accepts cash or check. Highly recommend.

I noticed a very loose chain, and some fraying on the chain assembly of my very old garage door opener. After reading reviews, I called Tim. He let me know that he isn't legally allowed to repair these old units, as the safety features are not up to code. He gave me a price for installing a new unit on the phone. He came out a day later, and installed a Chamberlain 1/2 HP unit in an hour and a half. My old unit had a recent remote that worked with the new unit, so I did not need a new remote, and Tim knocked $25 off the quoted price, since he kept the new remote. He even re-programmed the buttons on my old Nissan that operate the garage door. Good work, good service, at a fair price.

Searched Angie's list for local providers, Mr. Voss had no bad reviews. Called Tim Saturday afternoon, he was able to stop by Monday morning 9am. He called when he was on his way (thank you). Tim evaluated how to fix/reset/realign garage door and also how to keep from having this problem in the future. Tim gave estimate up-front with no service charge. Tim's quote to lubricate, tweak & reattach everything was cheaper than most providers advertised price for "tune-up" ($120). I accepted the estimate, Tim had everything he needed on his truck and had the project completed & tested multiple times in less than 30 mins. We ordered an Angies's special to have our garage door adjusted and all rollers replaced by Tim. After arriving promptly and completing the task, he remarked that the garage door opener was already vintage (museum-ready was the verdict) and suggested we install a new motor and drive. We knew this was a needed update and with the complete, friendly and responsive service he provided on the maintenance of our garage door, we were convinced to go with him on the motor update as well. He again arrived promptly and efficiently took care of the new motor and drive installation. The $-figure above includes both visits and services provided.
