Alan came out looked over our situation and recommended core drilling. We had a Travertine surface overlaying approximately 5" of concrete with a void due to underlaying compaction of the sand fill. I am a mining engineer and had some previous experience with grouting. The void The Right Way measured indicated a two day job and approximately 8 yds would be necessary. I did my own calculations and agreed with his analysis. His crew came out on schedule and completed the job in 2 days, cleaned up everything and the deck looked great. We were already planning to replace the broken travertine, all of which was previously existing and replace those pieces where the pump holes were drilled. The deck looks great. We are very happy with the job!

We hired this company to do mud jacking around our pool deck to prevent a leak. The result was that the mud jacking CAUSED a severe leak. The owner of the company (Alan) refused to admit his company caused the leak (must have been a preexisting condition), but still wanted full payment for the work, which we refused. Fixing the leak (which he caused) cost us several thousand dollars, but he is still insisting we pay him his full fee. He is now sending my wife harrasing emails for more money.

While the crew was pumping mud under the pool deck, a seal broke and sand and mud surged into our pool. The crew had the sense to immediately turn off the pump, but the pool is a muddy, depressing mess. This happened on a Friday. We were assured by both Alan and his crew that someone would be at our home the next day to clean and refill the pool. When no one showed up Saturday by mid morning, I called Alan. Rather then contacting them himself, he asked us to contact the pool cleaners. When contacted, they were not clear on who we were or what we needed. It is now Monday. The pool is still filthy. Alan gave us a $100 discount on the job, offered to pay for the clean up, and made many apologies, but the fact remains that we were promised a clean-up that hasn't materialized. We were getting ready to resurface the pool and deck anyway, so will go ahead and do it in conjunction with getting the pool cleaned, but it's been disappointing to look out at the pool, dark and dank under the bright sunlight.

Alan the owner of The Right Way LLC emailed to confirm the quoted cost. He arrived on time with his crew and work trailer. They got right to work drilling holes in the deck and injecting portland mud under pressure to raise the deck slabs. They cleaned up and finished in 4 hours. The pool deck looks great and it saved 70% over a demolition and re-pour.
