Description of Work: they were supposed to regrout my shower walls, from the water temp knob, down. CLEAN and seal the shower floor grout. replace and grout around broken tub deck tile. Well, the tech took all the grout out of the wall seems, except two (at first) in the caddy-corner. I went in there and said, oh, are you not taking this out as well? oh, well, i can if you want me to he said. UH, Yeah, that's why you're here. So, he took that out. Then, he re-grouted. Fine. Then, I came in just as he was finishing the floor and said, "so, we're going to Clean and seal the floor correct?" yes ma'am, Clean and seal. Good. Fine. 5 minutes later, I got back in, and already he's started sealing.... so, where's the "clean" part in the "clean and seal?" i wonder. Also, i thought to myself after a moment, so, how is HE able to Clean the grout, if we had to stop using the shower 2 days before they came to do the job? How is that possible. Moving on, he replaced the cracked tile on the tub deck. The outside grout line that meets the wall bullnoze tile is shotty. Not the best work. I asked him to re-caulk my bathroom sink counter top where it meets the 4'' backsplash. Done. Fine. Well, the day after the job, i started noticing what looked like ice crystals, or itty bitty stalagmites coming out of the grout. I called, they sent someone to come out and look at it. he said, what happened was, there was moisture trying to push it's way through the grout, causing this fluffy ice crystal looking stuff to occur on the outside of the grout. um, ok. so, he said, the only way to stop it, was to seal the wall grout as well. He made it a point to reiterate that out of a "courtesy" he wasn't going to charge me for this secondary trip. I thought to myself, you're d*** right you won't. Then, we had to wait and additional 6 days to use our shower, now that he had sealed the walls. we had already waited 5-6 days after the shower was finished the first time. Now we had to wait an additional 6 days? So, whatever. We actually waiting almost 7. within 2 days of using the shower, the "sealant" started to lift off the floor, revealing my old discolored and obviously NOT cleaned grout underneath. With each time we used the shower, more and more sealant has come up. Half of the sealant is now off of the shower floor. It looks so ugly. And you can definitely tell that the grout was NOT cleaned before the sealant. I always clean the grout myself with bleach, but it just got to the point where it was stained, and I had hoped that they had something more powerful that would clean the grout to it's original condition, and THEN seal it. Also, since then, the Caulk job on that runs the entire length of the sink is completely cracked, all the way down the line. Not happy. Will NEVER use again. They're hack jobs.
