SMP responded in less than 24 hours after we requested a quote. They followed up with emails and phone calls and a written quote within 3 days. We were unable to make a final decision due to other contractors not responding as quickly, but SMP honored their quoted price beyond the 30 day acceptance period. Once the decision was made for SMP to do the work a timeline was agreed to. They use Sherwin Williams products, but my color selection was from another store. Their employee went to this location, obtained the color sample, then took it to their supplier to match. We were told that the crew would show up by 8am and they were there even earlier. They prepped the house; filling in cracks in the stucco and replacing rotted wood. The crew was professional, friendly, neat and detail oriented. We did a final walk around with the painter and he touched up the few areas (2 or 3 small areas). Everything was done to our satisfaction. The house exterior is beautiful and we received many compliments upon the completion of the work. We would definately use SMP again in the future. If you want a company that delivers what they promise, then SMP should be your choice.

I called SMP services on a referral I received from a friend. I had a whole punch list of items that I needed fixed at one of my rental properties and he told me that they would be my one stop company. Upon calling I spoke with a very nice you man named Schroeder (I found out later that his real name is Jason, this is a nickname he got as a small child because he plays the piano like the kid on the Peanuts cartoon LOL), he took my list of issues, and told me that they could handle all of them. The owner himself, Shad (a nice young gentleman), then met me there and provided me with a quote that was very reasonable. Within a few days they arrived as promised and did a great job! I am very pleased and will use them again in the future. Almost forgot, Shad also told me that they did lawn care and sent his crew to trim the lawn!

I hired him to do painting and input carpeting for me. He hired workers to do the work which they did but was not fully completed. I sent him a list of additional things that needed to be finished. He was upset about the list and said he did not have time to do the work. He complained and said they did things above and beyond what was quoted. I was just very unpleased with their unprofessionalism and that they left several things undone. Such as put the exact same switch plats up instead of replacing and wires that were not taken down but just painted over. They took all the paint and there was not a drop left for touch up. They also took all the carpet and did not leave a scrap.
