Roofing by Curry

The job was done professionally and on schedule. Excellent work and excellent warrantee. Only problem was their job estimate significantly underestimated the final cost. The problem was that the estimator only saw one roof layer when there were two. One would assume that a trained estimator would know this. They charged extra for removing the second layer, which i found out about after the job was in process. Also, beware of gutter guards, which may need to be removed. If your guards are expensive, make sure reinstallation is included in the job estimate.

The work was done professionally and on time. They kept me informed of the status of the job by providing pictures. We were out of town and felt confident that the job was proceeding on schedule. They were recommended by our neighbor and we were not disappointed. We obtained several proposals and Curry’s was competitive. What made a big different was the friendly and professional presentation by Tony, the sales rep. Making the decision on the selection of tile was not easy. Tony provided numerous samples to help make our decision.

The project went very well, they kept me updated on what they were doing, and overall to a top-quality job.

I had used Curry for three previous repairs and thought I could rely on them. I was wrong. This time, I paid $800 for a roof repair that failed. I hired them to find and repair a roof leak that was causing water to flow through my ceiling. They attempted the repair three times in one month. They picked a different roof location each time. Each time, they said they had fixed the leak. Each time, it returned within 1 to 2 weeks. It wasn't until the third time that they ran a water test to try to find the leak. The location they found was a place they'd repaired 2 years earlier. On the third occasion, they said they'd fixed the problem, but that I would need a new roof. After the leak returned the third time, they gave up. They did not stand by their 1-year warranty, and they kept my $800. If you want to worry, call Curry.

Totally happy with the company. Honest,fair priced, no up sells,arrived and finished on time. They replaced or repaired 4 houses on my street. Every customer pleased. Already recommended them to two other people looking for a roof company.

The workmanship was ok,The workers were ok other than they used the corner of my fence for a urinal.There was alot of rotten wood which you could see with the old roof still on.I talked to Charlie on the phone and was assured that the flat roof plywood was included because they were increasing the pitch for better run off.I was charged another 6000.00 for 57 sheets of plywood and stringers.My house only takes 70 sheets including the flat roof which means only 13 sheets of original plywood left.I count 23 original in my attic and by their pictures there was 6 left on the front of the house so they charged me for 20 sheets they didn't instal plus the 9 sheets for the flat roof that was supposed to be included.I have sent them numerous emails and Susan says to bad it is what it is.Make sure your home and watching them like a hawk!

Six broken tiles were replaced. Other tiles that were cracked or that had slipped we’re repaired and reset.

Amazing. The workers were very nice, knowledgeable and did a great job informing me of my issue and answering all my questions. They cleaned up and you would never know they were there. They gave a great recommendation for us going forward with regard to our roof and how to get the most out of it.

My husband and I built a new house in Osprey in late 2017. Earlier this month we noticed a wet patch in the garage ceiling. We called our builder who immediately contacted Roofing by Curry, the company who installed the roof. The SAME day, we were contacted by Curry and an appointment was made for the technician to come out quickly. Eduardo Maldonado and Tahel Penaloza arrived at our home, on time (unbelievably) and quickly diagnosed the problem. Both technicians were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They answered all our questions and then fixed the roof. Within a week of my call, everything was complete. We are so happy with Curry and our two technicians. We would highly recommend this company to friends and family. Good job!

Not well. Curry did not honor their own contract. They replaced the roof, but charged over $1,200 more than was estimated. Curry also cut an A/C coolant line in the roof and drained the entire system of coolant into the walls of the home. The repair was $505 and they will not pay for their own mistake. The A/C line was inspected by an inspector for the City of North port and was deemed to be 100% properly installed at the time it was originally installed, but Curry just ignores all the facts. We will never refer a client to curry roofing again

We have used Curry Roofing for some minor problems on our roof and were very pleased with their work. We appreciated their honesty and integrity and their willingness to take on small repairs at reasonable rates.

Once started it went fast, but had issue. Mid way a bad lighting storm with heavy rain stopped process. Tarp put over to protect roof came down off my 2 story home. Water damage to 4 rooms. Hold on, the crew jumped into action put tarp back on during bad storm, my thanks. Then Curry took care of everything fixed all. Special Thanks to Henry's Painting he was awsome. Well, they took my number and email down incorrectly. Then I had to wait 2 weeks for an estimate that I was told I didn’t have to be home for. When I called looking for the estimate they said they didn’t do it because I wasn’t home. So finally they did estimate and I agreed to the estimate. I asked for the pictures of my roof after the work was done. I had to ask 3 time after the work was completed before they provided them.

Turned out pretty good, they did excellent.

Not good 3 days after they have come out, I still don't have an estimate. I have made several calls to their office and the guy that answers the phone tells me there is nothing he can do. He keeps giving Jay the messages that customer needs estimate. So guess what it would be like if I hired them to do the project?! Poor communications and three days without an estimate, apology or communications as to when I might expect the estimate is poor customer service!

This is, without a doubt, the best roofing company in this area. They actually answer the phones when you call (others don't!), set up an appointment time for an estimator to come, follow that with a terrific, trained estimator who climbs on the roof and takes pictures and finally, they do the job right for a not ridiculous price- with a guarantee. Wow! Just the best!

Not very well. They have a basic $650 flat fee for minor repairs. I would say 3-4 man hours were used on my house. An estimate of repairs were given to me via email. After my inspection, personally, on the roof I didn't feel all the repairs were completed and I requested a manager or supervisor to also inspect the work done. After several requests I gave up since no response was received. After not paying the bill for a few months an individual did call and explained that someone would come out and go over things with me. I do not plan to follow-up with this issue. I just won't recommend this company or use them again.

They were recommended to me by a long resident. They were professional but I had chased the contractor because he was not that responsive. But now everything is alright and he has been responsive. He did not wind up because I did it in a very civil way. I expect him to manage customer’s expectations and he did that. Everything had been going along very well. He shows up when he says he is coming.

The service was performed in the middle of March and cost $12,000. They were good. They did a great job at a good price. I got three quotes, they were the best quote and I would rate them A on everything. They were punctual, they cleaned, they did a very professional job. I had no problem at all, they were great. They got the job done on time, everything was really smooth. I would use them again for sure.
