Description of Work: We were provided with our estimate for a new water heater over the phone and able to schedule the service on the following day. This was convenient to our work schedule.

Description of Work: The gentleman who came to our home was professional, cordial, and very knowledgeable, we had a problem with toilet waste coming up into the tub in one of our bathrooms. Snaked from the roof and also the clean out. Nothing but some grease. We did have to call for returns twice and expected to pay the final time but did not have any further charges and have not had any further problems. Every time they left drain was running without any problem but began backing up again later. Although it took more than one trip to stop the problem finally I know several others who have had similar problems and have had to have plumber back at least one additional time. I was surprised at the cost but have not had plumbing services in many years and checked to discover it was about right. Overall my experience was a good one under trying circumstances and I have already recommended the company to someone else.

Description of Work: When the nine year old water heater developed a leak, I decided to replace rather than have analyzed for repair. Was quoted price over the phone of "approximately $650, which would take into consideration the $350 rebate being offered by TECO. Not informed that expansion tank would probably also require replacement and that this would be an additional cost.My concern is not so much regarding the additional expense that was incurred, but the fact that the heater was not well installed by the first plumber. It was improperly aligned and crooked. The expansion tank was also not installed in the recommended fashion; however I did not learn of this until the second plumber came to fix things. The first plumber took an inordinate amount of time -- after an arrival more than two hours after scheduled. When the job was finally complete and I asked about it looking like it was leaning, I was informed this was "normal." Only a phone call to the water heater manufacturing company confirmed that this was indeed NOT normal, and that this installation would in all probability void the warranty. When telephoning Professional Plumbing to discuss with the Service Manager, he expressed concern and assured things would be made right. He did come out the next day, confirmed that the installation was not of the quality to be expected, and arranged for a second plumber to come out a few days later and remedy. This was when the expansion tank was also adjusted.Ultimately, I am satisfied with the new water heater; however, it should not have taken three visits by plumbing professionals to properly install a new water heater. I'm not sure whether or not I would use this company again -- they come recommended by many, but my experience was not the best.

Description of Work: On 6 June I purchased a new hot water heater from Professional Plumbing based on the advice received from your consultant. The price was reasonable and the service was outstanding. The unit was installed immediately by the service representative and the workmanship was perfect.
