I ended up finding a solution to the problem myself but it was very helpful having first consulted a knowledgable and professional plumber during the process. I will use them in the future based on this experience.

I called for about a week before he would call me back. When I spoke with Charles I was told that I lived too far away and that he would not honor the deal. he then told me that the deal did not come with a credit towards repairs. I am getting a refund for this deal now.

They were punctual and polite. They were prepared and knowledgeable. They even took me to Home Depot to pick out the parts.

Called the owner Chuck Burns on 1/26 and told him my hot water tank was leaking. He said he would come out during the afternoon of 1/27. He said he would bring a new hot water tank with him since mine was probably shot especially since it was 13 years old. Called me at 2:15 and said he would be there in 45 min, in which he was. Looked at tank and said it needed replaced. He gave me a price the day before of 1275 with an Angies List Discount of $ 200. Said 1075. would be the total price including labor and tax. Replacement tank that he picked up was not available so he gave me a 150. upgraded tank for same price since his distributor gave it to him at same price. Had to do some adtl plumbing as there were two extra lines coming out of the wall that used to be used with the old a/c system. Did the extra plumbing at no extra charge. He was very neat, cleaned up and hauled everything away. New heater had a 8 year instead of a 6 year warranty. Chuck gave me a 10 year warranty on heater and parts with a full replacement up to 5 years. Very pleasant to talk to and deal with. Would definitely hire him again.

I had a great response from the company to schedule and several follow up calls to let me know when they would arrive etc. The guy that was sent worked quickly, efficiently, clean. I had a lot of stuff under the sink and he moved it all aside and put it back neatly. I wrote a check for the extra work that was not included in the contract. It was under $20. I know it was a simple job I could have done myself but I wanted it done right and it took the plumber 5 minutes to do something that would have taken me all afternoon. :) I would recommend this company for drain cleaning.

On Dec. 16, 2015 I placed an order for a Comprehensive Plumbing Inspection and Water Heater Flush by Pro-Plumbing Works LLC based in Sarasota, FL. Price quoted: $69.00, which Angie?s List immediately charged to my credit card. I also left a message on Angie?s List that there was no rush and that I wanted to schedule the job in January 2016. Then I waited ? and waited ? and waited for a telephone call from the vendor. Nothing happened. On Dec. 29, 2015 I sent an e-mail to Pro-Plumbing Works LLC reminding him of the order and soliciting a response. It was only on this second attempt that the vendor contacted me. We set the date for Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. The vendor added that he would call me to confirm the appointment. Monday, Jan. 11 th, was a NO SHOW and, worse still, the vendor did not even call or e-mail me. This vendor is UNRELIABLE. I wonder whether he wrote those raving reviews himself! My rating for Pro-Plumbing Works LLC is F.

He did a fantastic job - great service and great job.

You can tell he takes pride in his work. He ran into a few problems (not of his doing), but he professionally overcome them.

Victor did a very good job. He arrived at scheduled time and was very professional.

Chuck was very prompt in retuning my call and came to install a new hybrid water heater the next day. I was very happy with the service provided and Chuck's professional attitude. The price quoted was the price I paid, even though I forgot to ask if installation was included (which it was) in the quoted price. I will definitely be calling Chuck again for our plumbing needs. He was very friendly, courteous and honest.

Charged me $100 over the cost of the "Deal" to "diagnose" the problem. After determining that the problem was a defective faucet quoted me $175 to install a new one that I would provide

Emailed them on 11/11/15 with a question about the work I needed done (Leaking kitchen faucet and laundry tub). Finally got a response on 11/17 saying they would call me the next day. Never done!. I emailed them back on 11/23 that they obviously have more business than they can handle and I will get in touch with another Angie;' list provider. Got a finally email back from them on 11/27 that just said "Sorry" 12/2/15 After reading my review I got a personal call from Chuck apologizing for the delay and the reason (beyond his control). He wants to make it up to me and will do whatever he can to do so. I will be doing more plumbing after the first of the year and I will definitely call him to give his company a second chance.

There were some problems with access but the plumber did a good job of working around the problems and improving things. It was a good deal of money but the price was fair considering the job required a good two hours of hard work. We are very pleased.

All went well. They arrived on time. Work took less time than I expected.

I was changing my water filter when suddenly the connection broke. Water spewed everywhere. I called several Angie's List vendors and settled on the one that said they could be here the soonest. They arrived in reasonable time. $49 for the diagnostic visit. $95 more for the work performed. The work was done well. He knew what he was doing and had a good work ethic. Generous. He offered any help I needed with other plumbing issues. Addressed and fixed a noise (and leak?) in the guest bath toilet while he was here and fixed something another plumber had not. He left a very good impression with me. Unfortunately, he is no longer with the company, I found out later.

Our kitchen sink started leaking on the weekend so I called a couple different plumbing companies. None of them were open on the weekend so I left a message. The owner of Pro- Pulmbing Works called me back on Monday and I was able to schedule an appointment with them that week. The owner was so nice and he gave me a great quote. The tech showed up for the appointment and shook our hands and read the work order back to us to make sure he had everything covered. He was very polite and professional. He immediately started to work and replaced the two strainers in the kitchen sink. He then moved on to the vanity. We showed him everything we had for the vanity and said whatever was there he could use. He went to work and finished not too long after. After he was done, he showed us the work that was done both in the kitchen and the bathroom. He advised us not to use the vanity sink for 24 hours so it could dry. He then was nice enough to break down the bill for us charge by charge so we knew what we were paying for. The final total was well within the quoted price I had received on the phone. We were very pleased with the work and the price. We will definitely use them again for any plumbing problems and will also recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber.

Work was performed in a neat and professional manner. I stayed with Chuck for the whole job and helped out where I could. He is a true gentleman and pleasure to work with. This is the second time I've used Pro-Plumbing works. I will use them again when the need arises, and I highly recommend them to others.

Pro-Plumbing was very responsive, and scheduled the repairs quickly. They showed up as agreed and completed the repairs in a professional way. Victor was very careful to be clean and neat in his work, and I was very happy with his professionalism and service. They were quick to honor Angie's List discounts, and I was given a very fair price. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I had a terrible time with them. I would grade them a straight 'C'. I purchased a $49 big deal and it cost me $300. I was not pleased. When the technician came, he re-did everything I told him that we had already done to check it, which I can understand, I suppose he had to but he was two hours late and it took him forever just to come up with the fact that he needed to snake the pipe which is what we said in the beginning. When he plugged in his snake, it didn't work and he tried three or four different outlets. I said those are all good outlets as other things are working on those. He still insists on trying another one and then he went off to get a different snake. That is the way it went, he was basically inapt.

Gave us a fair quote and was able to do the service the next day. How about that for service?! Did exactly as discussed.

I had a gushing leak from the water main to my home. The water company had turned the water off when the leak was discovered at 11:00 pm Sunday evening when the neighbor took out his garbage. Pro-plumbing was at my home by about 10:00 Monday morning, even though I had never used them before. They returned my call first thing and came out to look at the problem. There were a few glitches with the repair, but when all is said and done, they completed the repair at the price they had quoted me and within a reasonable time. The owner was even working in the rain to complete the job in a timely manner! The owner is really nice and easy to work with. Since that job went so well, I had them replace my hot water heater. I had planned on having that job done by Sears. Pro-plumbing was able to replace the water heater with a heater that actually has a longer warranty and they did it for $200.00 less than Sears. They came when they said they would and the job went very smoothly, including the removal of the old water heater and installation of the new. All in all, I was very happy with the quality, price, and service of this company and will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs.
