Precision Overhead Garage Door Service

The garage door would not open and the mount had broken away. I tried to physically lift the door which I was able to in the past when I had lost power but found it extreemly difficulty. I found out later that the broken spring was preventing me from lifting the door and had broken the mount. I called Precision Friday afternoon and they said they would send a tech who was working in the area when he finished his assignment. He arrived a little late on a friday night and had been held up at the previous job. be done, He went right to work and assesed what should be done, gave me a price which I thought was reasonable and I gave him the go ahead. He completed the job very efficiently and the door now works very smoothly and quite.

Came on a day I asked for. Showed up on time and finished quickly. Had some issues with the track and lubrication. He fixed that. Professional and informative. Will have them back to perform service if it is needed.

He was very professional and quick. I contacted them about my problem and they were out the next day. He fixed my garage door and adjusted it so it works well now. He did a very good job and I will definitely call them again if I have a problem with my door.

Technician was professional, the work was done very quickly. We were advised that doors needed additional service at great cost to be truly safe, but declined additional service. Satisfied with what we got. Doors sound much better.

The workers arrived at the time they promised, and proceeded to do the work necessary, without any problems. Our only concern, and it really wasn't one - because we weren't necessarily in a hurry to have the work done - was that we had to call them a second time to schedule the work. After we called them initially, we had assumed they would contact us to arrange for scheduling. But after a week or two had passed, and we hadn't heard from them, we called them again.

Company did a good job. Did what they said they would, showed up on time, left no mess. Cannot ask for more.

Very very badly. Andrew the owner was very rude when I called with questions. Bolts were falling out of the doors onto the garage floor and the installation job was sloppy and unfinished. The garage door trim was not painted when the job was finished. I gave up trying to use the company and was foreced to hire someone else to finish the job. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Great job and service. Timely and clean in the work performed. Would have prefered to be asked before they stuck their company stickers on both my doors but I easily peeled them off and placed a sticker where I could find it for future contact should I need additional service.

Called before arrival to see if we could do the work earlier than promised. That was fine so he arrived about 90 minutes early. Went about replacing the rollers with nylon ones. The door is much quieter now and we have a much needed second remote. Left a can of lubricant so we could do that ourselves.

1. Ease of scheduling was great, gave my Angie's List order number. I scheduled this 3 week out on my day off. 2. Doug, my service person was just the best. He called 20 minutes prior to arriving and he came during the time frame I was quoted. I can not say enough good things about Doug. He was polite and professional. He gave me a heads up on the condition of my springs, commenting that at some point in the future because of the weight of the door, they would need to be replaced. There was no pressure. Partly because of that and the fact that I could afford doing it today, I had him take care of it. I would highly recommend Precision and if you are luckily, you may get Doug !

Ben was very friendly and personable. He replaced the new rollers and lubricated the tracks. He found 2 broken brackets and replaced them. This was A worth while service. I would use them again.

They were unable to perform my service when scheduled because I had some stuff in the way. I have to reschedule when I move the items. I can't really review them yet, they did not service my garage door.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out fine. He found that we needed other things done and it was like another $260 on top of the deal. My husband felt that it was not like a bait-and-switch. We really did need what he said we needed. We were pleased with the service. He came out 2 weeks after I bought the deal.

Came on time, job went quick, my husband is real happy, our garage door previously made a lot of noise when it opened as it is a hurricane door and steel rollers were starting to rust. Our door was found to have some loose screws. Precision found and tightened it all up. Now it is so quiet I can hardly hear it open. Rollers are now a nylon of sorts, Happy with their work. It was a" Angie's List Big Deal".

We were very pleased with the work. We will call him again when additional work is needed.

Doug is a great worker. He explained everything he did and what to look for in the future.

After installing rollers tech suggested new cables. Current ones were 30 years old. I asked how much and tech said $139. I said, well since you're already here seems as though you could do it for less. He called the office and we agreed on a 28% discount.

Mike, the service man, did an excellent job getting our garage doors operating smoothly and quietly. It is great to have the older doors operating so well. We appreciate his expertise and professional manner. Thank you again Mike.

The technician arrived early. He was courteous and thorough. The garage door works very smoothly now.

Less than a week after service , same problem with door, self opening when closing started happening again. Called 8/9 and req. someone come out and take a look. Immediate response same day (Very Good). 2nd repair man knew what the problem was, 1st man had set the settings on the door incorrectly. Although very satisfied with 2nd service, I feel I should not have had to call back and request the repair be re done.
