Precision Overhead Garage Door Service

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went fine. I had them another service performed for which they charged me more.

All work was very professional. Excellent Job!!! I was very pleased with the entire process. Great people to do business with.

Service man was so polite and friendly. The garage door hadn't been serviced for a long time and it made a noise that actually made me jump when we put it up or down. We bought this villa and refurbed it. The whole place was in bad shape. Well, now the door is about 90 times quieter. The service man took pride in his work and we are impressed when that happens these days! Would use this company again without a second thought.

They got here early and did the job correctly. Everything went fine.

Arrived way before set time. Glad I was home. Got right to work and finished in good time. Pointed out problem area (rusty spring), had part in truck and went right to work. Neighbor requested they look at her garage door, which they did, and repaired her concerns.

I purchased this through the big deal. They showed up on time and serviced the door as agreed upon. The door is much quieter and runs smoother. I was very happy with this company and the service that I received.

Showed up on time. Went about his work without wasting time. Made the job look easy. Final result is that our garage door moves smoothly and is much quieter than before. We were quite pleased.

The young man who did the work was knowledgeable and professional. He arrived on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up after himself. We are both satisfied.

Did a fine job for the money, they did try to upsell you several things at full list price. I did not buy either as both really needed not to be done at the time. Would not pay price quoted by them as another company would do the same work for 30% cheaper but for what I paid for, I got a good job and a fair price.

The service technician was prompt, on time and professional. The price for the parts and service provided was fair. There was no upselling. I needed to call them back for a slight problem that turned out to be unrelated to the service they provided and they returned promptly as promised.

It went perfectly and the rep couldn't have been more professional and accommodating. He was prompt and very capable getting me back in service within an hour.

Overall a good experience. No trouble booking appointment on the phone. Job was done fairly well. One of the garage doors is still loud and squeaks but is better than it was.

Service man was courteous and offered to perform the tune up as promised. He also pointed out fractures in the door that could not be repaired. I asked for an estimate to upgrade to hurricane resistant doors. He provided an estimate which I accepted making the tune up superfluous.

Everything was fine, just did an inspection and realized the service was unnecessary

Technician arrived on time, but explained that our system was too old to accept their product without modifications. They were polite and explained our options, but we chose to decline due to increased costs.

All of the work was performed in a high quality professional manner. I am completely satisfied and would certainly use them again. Highly recommended.

The overhead door springs had surface rust. I questioned weather they had adjusted the springs. I was told that the springs where starting to bow when they adjusted them and could not be tightened any more. When the service men where done and released the door from the 1/2 hp opener it closed by itself. they explained the opener was holding the door in place and not the springs. I stated that it did not close by it self before the rollers where replaced. I felt it was unsafe the way it was and they where going to leave it that way. They would give me a price to replace the springs and door rubber and leave. I felt that Precision Door had an A rating from Angie's list, so I had the work done. I felt that if I had lost power and had to opener the door manually or close it manually it was unsafe. The garage door is heavy and could hurt someone. Garage door openers are not designed to hold the weight of the door. The service men replaced the door springs and rubber. When they were finished I noticed that the door made a snapping sound in a few spot when opened and closed manually. After some time and adjustments of the door hinges the snapping noise stopped. After a restless night sleep thinking about weather I needed the springs changed. I still find it hard to believe that the springs could not be adjusted to hold the door up. If they had adjusted the springs tighter and they broke there would be no question. I checked some local garage door companies to see what they would charge to change the door springs. They were $100 to $125 cheaper. I also noticed a $30 service charge. They were already at my home to replace the rollers. Why would there be a service charge?. The next day Wednesday the 18th I called Precision overhead garage door to discuss the work done and my concerns. I was told that no supervisor was available. the person who answered the phone said she had documented my concerns and that a supervisor would contact me. Today is Friday the 20th and I still have head nothing from the company. I checked the door today and there is still some snapping noise. I can't help but fell that the big deal was a scam for them to get in the door. I feel like I was duped and taken advantage of. An $89 deal cost me an additional $433 for a total of $523. I am very disappointed with Precision door to say the least. No response to my concerns. Sincerely, Thomas Hubley

Theyy were prompt, thorough and helpful with maintenance instructions. We will certainly call them to again if any repair is needed on our garage door system.

It went very well. Serviceman was very professional and went right to the job. He was extremely polite and courteous with yes ma'am answers.

Great. The serviceman arrived on time, did his work efficiently and quickly, and was done within a half hour.

Went very well. They called and set up the appointment, showed up when they said and completed the work quickly. They also diagnosed another problem with my door and came back a few days later to fix it.

The company was right on time, he knew what he was doing, he didn`t try to sell me anything extra. He was a real craftsman, very clean and curtious. I will use them again when the time arises

Performed tune-up on 2 garage doors and purchased 2 remote controls. Services provided promptly and professionally. No issues. Would use the company again for future service and/or garage door purchases.
