Precision Overhead Garage Door Service

He warned me about age and weight of door, said the springs were not the correct ones. I had had new springs ($200) put on the previous year. Was he trying to sell me a new door or help me? I felt he was trying to sell me a new door. Same thing happened to a friend of mine, same company. He did put on new rollers while he was here. A few months later I didn't like the sounds of my door. Decided to get a new one and get it over with. Called him back and they honored the deal they wrote up when he was here the first time. The door went up fine. No problem there. However, they left the door without greasing it, so it ran roughly and made a lot of noise. Also in the process of removing old wood and the original installation, they left holes in cement and the trim was pulled off leaving an unfinished, torn up outdoor wall on both sides of the garage. Also a hole into the attic. It didn't seem to bother them. When I saw it and called back to ask what they could do to repair it they said to call someone who does that sort of thing. They came back and applied the dry-slide or whatever to the door so it became quiet and smooth. The door's white does not match the house's white. I will need to paint the door or the house. I'm guessing about the date of the service. Late 2013 is what I remember.

We were so pleased after Ben finished the prepaid Angie's List work, that we asked him if he would install a new bottom seal and new operator for the door. After our experience with Precision Door, we will happily refer this company to our friends and neighbors.

Justin was punctual and called me30 minutes prior to his arrival, as requested. He first examined the door thoroughly and commented on the condition as a whole. He replaced all of the rollers, which made a HUGE difference in the smoothness and noise reduction of my old, outdated metal rollers. Everything was adjusted, including the chain and sprayed to make it all run smoothly. I did have a broken hinge and so he replaced that with a new one for an extra $15 dollars. It was quick, easy to make an appointment, affordable and I will definitely use them again!

Tech, Doug, arrived in the time slot scheduled, replaced rollers, rebalanced door, lubricated all hinges, etc. Tested all functions and left some spray lubricant as well. Door opens and closes better and quieter than I can remember. Excellent service, no attempt at upselling etc., highly recommended.

Rollers were installed quickly, but tuneup was/is hard to evaluate as I don't know what it entails. Otherwise,service associate was polite and efficient.

They were wonderful and I could not ask for better service. The technicians were wonderful and very knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. They got the job done in about an hour and a half. They found that the door was not put together right and they put it back the way it was supposed to be. It now works better than before and is quiet and you can barely hear it run.

The two men who showed up were unfailingly polite and friendly, did their appointed work efficiently and with good teamwork. They explained what services they performed and what they recommended to be done in the future, adding that an e-mail would follow.

He was able to reconnect the ends of the chain. He could not guarantee how long it might work as it is an old style opener. It is still working. We will definitely consider this company for door replacement .

Outstanding! Did maintenance. Prompt friendly service. I thought I needed a new garage door soon. Pointed out why this was not necessary in the near future. I thought I would need a new garage door opener soon. Explained I had a very good one which can be repaired. I rarely experience being told I don't need something rather then being pushed to purchase what I don't need. Precision has gained my complete trust for all future garage door needs.

It went just fine. It cost me more money because I need additional work but he did a good job. The garage door was noisy and so that’s why I asked for the service and now it’s much better and greatly improved. The $99 sounded great but the other $299 seems a little bit expensive. He was prompt and clean. He was very pleasant.

They were prompt, they tightened the door, they made a couple of suggestions, and that was it.

I had a small problem with scheduling. The first appointment was between 10am-2pm. Technician called and indicated he was stuck on another job and would arrive between 2pm-5pm. When I had not heard by 4:30pm, I called and he indicated that he was still tied up and wouldn't be able to arrive until 6pm. As I had another appointment, I cancelled the call for the day. I don't have a problem that he got stuck on another job, but it would have been nice if he had called. I called and rescheduled and this time ask for the first appointment of the day. The technician arrived on time. He was very thorough, explained what work needed to be completed and was able quote a price on the spot via his tablet. Once we agreed on the work, he complete the job quickly and efficiently. Overall, I would recommend this company. Just be sure to ask for the first appointment of the day.

I didn't use Brooksville precession doors

I purchased a Sngies list deal of a garage door tuneup for $80, and in the process the tech advised me that the springs were worn quite badly . They were 25 years old. He was able to replace the springs during the same visit for $300 which seemed fair. Very happy with the service. Very professional and courteous.

It started when I was in the process of getting estimates for 2 garage door problems and possible preventive maintenance. Called them second on my list. They have a $29.00 charge for an estimate. This bothered me so I persisted and ask operator to speak with the manager to see if they would waive the charge. I left my name and phone number. As I continued to make my calls their office called and said yes they would do that and we made an appointment for today late afternoon. As I continued to get other estimates I did set up an appointment early today. I realized that If all of them had charged me the same amount it would have cost me $120.00 and would have only gotten back $30.00 from the one I choose. After thinking about it and talking with the first firm I called and cancelled my appointment. I know that this is common with businesses like Home Depot but they have dozens of different departments and I understand that also. They can do business as they choose and I have the choice not to do business that way also.

It was the second time we've used them. It was just fine. They were punctual. The first time we used them was about a year ago for a garage door maintenance call. I asked them to put us on their recall list for an annual service. Just when I got ready to call another company, when their Angie's List special came up and I mentioned to the technician that I have not heard from them and he said that they had a computer glitch and it erased a bunch of customer files. I said to make sure that he gets us on the list for an annual call anyway. Other than that they were very professional.
