 + -1 moreI went to Whitfield's to see how my furniture looked like after OWEN'S MOVING moved it and they left two big & long gouges on my armoire in front. They had to have known they did it because it was very noticeable plus they did not cover that part the armoire there. Some finish was taken off on the side. It really makes me upset that they never said anything. You really can't count on anyone these days-no matter what you pay. I would just had it hauled in a truck and went on down the road, but I cared about having it in good shape for the next person, so I hired a professional, I thought.
Description of Work: OWEN MOVERS picked up my furniture to bring to Whitfield Cosignment on S.R. 41. First off they said it was $160.00 because i Iive in Parrish. Bradenton is less than an exit over. They left some of there stuff here and never came back to pick it up.

 + -1 moreThe movers showed up on time. They worked hard and moved fast. I was impressed and would use them again. When I hired the movers, it wasn't to move the whole house, just some boxes and all of the furniture. The movers were careful with all of my pieces, some of which are antiques.

 + -1 moreHad used this mover the previous year for my daughter and her daughter and were so pleased with them that we used again. We did a lot of the packing and securing to save time and money. There were no glitches or problems. As before the movers were prompt, polite, and efficient. We could not have asked for better service or a fairer price.
Description of Work: Moved household goods and furniture from second story apartment to residential house. Distance between locations was five miles. Items included beds, dressers, closets, couch, china cabinet, tables, chairs, etc.
