Description of Work: Installed new central a/c and re-insulated ductwork. Owner, Bill, provided a quick estimate and scheduled a quick install after acceptance of the bid. Ran into some challenges the first day and Bill showed up to ensure we had a/c by the end of the day. Because of my engineering background (aka I'm annoying to work with) I asked them to come back out and re-do a couple of things. They were very accomodating and did all work to my satisfaction. In the end we got a great unit at a great price and no sales baloney.

I advised Ocean Air the home improvement contractor I hired to do inside home repairs added freon to the new a/c system without homeowners permission. Ocean Air voided the a/c warranty. The home improvement contractor hired an a/c company who drained the entire system and added new according to manufactures instructions. Ocean Air refused to reactivate the warranty.

Ocean-Aire give it's customers a year of warranty after the installation of a new unit. This means we will do any repair necessary with no charge for labor within that year. This does not affect the Manufacturers warranty in any way. If another company works on the unit within that year time period we void that free year at that point as we can not be responsible for work done by another company that we put right at our cost. [Member name removed] misunderstood which warranty we voided.

Sorry this customer had a bad experience. Some of our trucks are pick-ups and can not carry the extension ladders safely. If we had known the need for a longer ladder we would have sent a different technician.
