We contacted Murphy - Douglas painting after having an extremely tumultuous experience with a painter we found on Craigslist. I can honestly say that this bad experience led to one of the best outcomes I have ever had with a hired professional. To begin with, of the several quotes we received theirs was not only and quot;Extremely Affordableand quot; there proposal was far more thorough and inclusive of things that none of the other bidders even caught. Their attention to detail and there price made it a solid choice for myself and my wife. To top it off both Tim and David were genuinely good natured and great to be around. Once the work commenced, the difference between their work and the work of the painter I hired prior, was not even slightly comparable. They were not only precise and capable in all of their application, they impressed several of my neighbors with their workmanship. One neighbor actually came to our door and explained how in awe he was after watching them conduct their work for several minutes. It was truly a pleasure having them work at our home; they were fast, efficient and always kept us informed at every stage of the process. In fact, one morning when they were slightly delayed a matter of minutes, they extended us the courtesy of calling and explaining. Throughout the time they spent working on our home they never made and/or left any messes and treated any of my properties as if they were their own. They even cleaned up after the haphazard and half finished myriad of paint flinging accomplished by the walking disaster of a painter we hired, prior to finding these professionals. All in all both myself and my wife were totally pleased with the outcome of the job and would recommend their services to anyone. In fact, we have already requested their services on another upcoming project. Honestly I don't think I will ever look for another painting company as long as these two are in business! They do great credit unto themselves and to anyone who carries themselves and their profession in high regard. If your in the Sarasota area, I would suggest anyone reading this should give these two your business, because honestly, quality and professionalism are getting harder and harder to find. I consider myself a professional as well and work very hard for each dollar I have; It's a good feeling when you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your hard earned money is going to someone who will work just as hard, and takes pride in what they do.
