Landscaping On A Budget

This could have been such a wonderful experience. Gary’s design for my landscaping was beautiful, but the execution, communication, customer service, and follow through were abysmal. Unfortunately, I am not permitted enough characters to fully explain the experience, but suffice it to say that I paid him more than some people paid for their cars, and all I got was some weeding, a bunch of flowers that will never thrive because they were planted improperly, a $1280 irrigation repair bill, and a headache. It seems to be Gary’s style to respond to these types of reviews by spewing vitriol, but the fact remains that he did us wrong. He knows it; his crew knows it; and the contractors who had to clean up his mess know it.

Started out fine, but I was promised a detailed quote and drawing that I needed to submit to my HOA. Got the quote a day later than he boasted he would get it to me, and it was just a handwritten list and price with no details., no drawing or layout plan. Once I asked about it , things got strange. He boasted that he does great work and does not need my work as he is so busy . He was un professional as he stated he did not use illegals as others do. Just an overbearing person that turned mean when I asked about the quote. Would not recommend this company at all, very unprofessional and combative when you ask any questions. Just an overall waste of my time.

Called and set up a consult with Gary the following week. They never called or showed up. I gave them a couple days to see if they would reach out since they never came. Never called! After the weekend I called and spoke to a woman who stated she will call me right back about scheduling. Never called back. I waited another two days and called again. Spoke to Gary the owner and he stated he will be able to have them come the following day which was Friday to do the clean up. I scheduled nothing that day so I would be home for this. Never called that morning. I called friday afternoon and gary said he would call his people to remind them to come. Never called me back and nobody showed!!! Super unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!

Gary's team did a great job at getting the beds along the fences in my backyard and around my pool in great shape. They planted about 45 new plants, and repositioned bromeliads, put down weed mats, and new mulch. It looks great and when everything starts growing and filling in, it's going to be fantastic. I will be having them work in the front yard soon! The price was very reasonable and I could tell Gary cared about doing a quality job.

The process was fine. A friendly team who came quickly when we needed work done in a hurry. Would definitely recommend.

We had a pool installed and our backyard and side yard were literally destroyed. We met with Gary and he designed a landscape plan for us. We liked his ideas and went ahead with the landscaping project. Gary and his crew installed sod, numerous plants all around the lanai (30 ft. x 30 ft.), two palm trees, two magnolia trees and 10 Areca palms along the back of our yard. They installed a decorative brick edging around the plants around the lanai. On one side of the lanai they installed stepping stones and river rock. Of course mulch was put around all the plants. In the front yard we requested river rock and the decorative brick edging be installed around our plants. There are many flowering plants and they are just beautiful. All of the plantings have just transformed our yard to a wonderful oasis. Gary and his crew are excellent workers and go above and beyond to get the job done correctly. They are punctual, polite, and accommodating. We just love our backyard now and would hire Landscaping on a Budget again without hesitation.

Wonderful experience, wonderful group of people. Added artistic nuances that really finished off the house. Very capable group that can manage the super complex down to the simple enhancement of the outdoors. Punctual and affordable! Excellent value!! Would highly recommend!

The company was very professional and responsive to our needs. They stayed within the agreed upon budget and actually required more materials that we were not charged for. I would absolutely hire them again!

It went really well and we are very pleased with results. Could it have been better, sure, but I don;t know enough to tell you what could have been better.

It was really very good. Gary was the owner, he came out to see me first and check on what I wanted. Then he sent me a lot of pictures of flowers that he's thinking to plant in my garden and gave me sketch. Two guys came out and did a great job on my garden. It looked great. I was very satisfied.

They did a fabulous job. I still love my raised garden bed they put in for me. They got it all done within the time frame and budget that they had promised and it all turned out really good
