Island Tree Svc

He made the extra effort to explain to me what he was doing. Being new to Florida, when I first saw it, I didn't know what was happening. I thought that when somebody trimmed it for me, they hurt the tree. My son-in-law who does landscaping down here, he told me what it was. He told me it was likely that I couldn't save that Palm. I love that tree. I was calling around and I got the brother of the guy who owns Island Tree. He said his brother would be willing to come down and look at that tree. He saved my tree. He was shocked. He didn't believe me when I told him how long this tree had been suffering the weevils. He said they usually kill this kind of Bismark Palm within a week. It had been over a month, over 2 months. He actually gave the tree two shots. I know that sounds hysterical. It sounds funny to me too. They drill a hole and inject a chemical. I asked him, "Is that going to kill those weevils?". He said, "No, it's going to make your palm taste bad and they will leave voluntarily". He saved my tree and I couldn't be happier. These are pricey trees.

I was very satisfied. They were accommodating as they came to take down two palms interfering with plumbing. They had to coordinate with other people to get the work done.

They will also be coming back to do the stump grinding. They cleaned up as they went along, so that by the time they left, the only evidence of them being here was the stumps left over. They were very careful and used their safety features when up in the trees. They were very polite and courteous. They did such a good job cleaning up that even my neighbors were impressed! Of course, I was too!

They had a fair price and did unbelievable, beautiful work.
