Janos responded quickly to my request sent me an estimate. Once I agreed to the quote I was surprised how quickly he scheduled the work. Janos went above and beyond the scope of work and did not charge any extras. I would definitely hire him again.

This company was incredibly professional and flexible with me. They were able to make a few spot adjustments as they came up. They cleaned up after, swept my house, bagged it up, and dragged the rubbish outside for me. I would and will use this company in the future!

Janos Gabor, the owner of this small company, is honest and his rates are reasonable. His employee. Norbert, was a tireless worker. Because it is a small local company, you are given personal attention. They also put a new ceiling in my lanai, installed new screen doors, and installed new soffits all arou d my house.

Gabor Renovations fits the bill in all these areas. The communication was exceptional, via phone, text message, email, videos and pictures. He is reliable and available and goes above and beyond for his clients. He also did a stellar job on our pool deck which was newly painted but a different company but the quality of the materials and work resulted in the paint washing away with a simply hosing off of the pool deck. Janos and his team, assessed the situation, stripped , hand sanded, primed and painted the pool deck with unparalleled quality. After many contractors either never called me back or they said the job was not worth their time, Gabor Renovations agreed to drive down to Port Charlotte and rescue me. My request was to fill in cracks from a foundation issue and paint, matching the paint to our existing color. He was punctual, professional and completed the work that very day. And, for an amount that I could afford. I plan to hire him again, this time for a total house painting and other projects that we have. I would highly recommend Janos to friends and neighbors.

Joe and Alice were very pleased to hire James Gabor to finish a fence project someone else we hired had started. This hired handyman just abandoned this Fence project three weeks ago. I called Angi's List for Licensed Professional Businesses and James Gabor answered our phone call immediately and set up an appointment the next day early Sunday morning. I explained to him exactly what needed to be done for completing our yard wood panel fence project with cutting a few cement slabs and some trimming of fence post tops. He also needed to check already put up fence wood panels that were screwed in crocked. James was very acknowledgeable about what was needed to finish this uncompleted fence project. I felt confident with his manner of telling me he was wanting to come as soon as possible and had all the tools for cutting, the cement, cementing the last two fence posts, leveling the dirt and using the cement cut pieces to put in the space from the cement pieces cut in order to extend the back area of the fence near the side of the fence. He also removed the chain link fence attached to the back side chaining fence going down the right side of the house's yard. He meticulously loosened the screws in the top half of the uneven fence posts that had been put up and redrilled the screws so he could straighten the posts, there were fence post tool clamps he attacked to the bottom of the posts while working on them. When he mixed the cement for the few fence posts he had a hand held rotating drill mixer he mixed the water and cement mix together in a big bucket to pour the cement. He worked hard and fast, never taking any break, constantly checking everything walking in the back and front areas of this whole fence. I was very impressed with his work ethic! He also was polite and was very accomodating if I asked questions while he was working. He finished all my fence wood project in three hours!! He is very professional, cleaned up any cuttings of posts and excess wood pieces from trimming. He also carried the taken down poles and small piece of chain link fence into the back yard area which was a little ways walk from where he was working. He also carried the small piece of leftover excess a cut fence panel back into the side area of the house back yard. He made this wood fence project all lined up right to the side of the house look very nice. I kept saying Thank you to him. Please hire him for any renovations you need done. He is very good and a perfectionist at any kind of house or building project you need done. You will not be led astray at all he is very organized and punctual. He worked mostly alone and never complained. The job fee he presents to a client is well deserved by his knowledgeable job skills Thank you, James Gabor Renovations LLC. Gabor did a great job repairing some drywall. He did a fine job of matching texture on ceiling which was a different than wall. Did a great job matching wall as well. Also, he did baseboards in a closet and they now match well with the rest of the room. Cleaned up after the job. Very friendly and easy to work with.
