Service is excellent; price is fair; staff is very professional. This is the second review I am writing on this company--they are consistently reliable, professional, and economical. A bonus: A HUMAN answers the phone!

This company is very easy to deal with, and they do a great job at a reasonable price. An efficient and friendly person answers the phone, not a recording. If you call when they are closed, they call back promptly first thing the next day. When you call, they give you a service date (same day or next day, and they don't charge extra for weekends). The Discount Garage Doors technicians I've dealt with have been very knowledgeable and accommodating. They don't fix anything that doesn't need fixing, and they don't try to talk you into anything you don't need--I particularly appreciate this because I had a bad experience with another company in the past. The technician who came last week (Adam) was very professional and definitely knew his stuff! He corrected the problem quickly (something to do with the chain) and was on his way in less than a half hour. This week, I thought the door wasn't running up and down the track smoothly, so I called again to have it rechecked just in case. Adam came back and made a simple adjustment--now it's working fine! This is a very good company, and I have already recommended them to friends. I know I need a whole new garage door--and when I can afford it, I'll get it from them because I know they stand behind their work and charge reasonable rates. Good job, guys!!!

I was not as happy with their services in a few area. Their follow-up was poor. Their work was okay when I got there but I wasn't happy that's why I've given this review. I didn't think they were professional. I would not use them again. I got back and I wanted to have it done on the certain times, they said, "Oh yeah, no problem." They were a week late installing it after I left. I did several calls and to get update on it which was never returned. Some of the response, sometimes I'm talking to some of their people, just not very good phone etiquette. It wasn't that a pleasant experience working with the company. The quality of work was fine but their office service was substandard. Good work, bad office.
