Excellent. WIll use again in the future

Mike was on time and ready to go. I knew at the first hello that he was going to be ok. Boy was I wrong, he was beyond awesome. Ok is a gross understatement. My A/C unit is 4 years old, installed and serviced by Quality Air. Never worked right from day one and no one knew how to correct the situation. Within 30 minutes Mke had the temperature down and air circulation improved. The inside temperature never went below 80 even though the thermostat was set at 77 or 78. Now the inside temp. goes wherever the thermostat is set, even as low as 76, even in the middle of the day when outside temps are in the 90s., I signed up for an semi-annual service contract on the spot. Good by Quality Air and hello D & W. Look no further, these guys actually know what they're doing.

Everything went well. No complaints. Since my husband did most of the interaction with these men, I can't relate all the details, but he seemed satisfied.

Very good communication from D & W. Called in the morning to confirm time and then called again when prior job ran over. Brad the service technician was very thorough, knowledge, and courteous. Explained inspection results in detail in an easy to understand manner. Took over 2 hours to complete because of the extensiveness of his service. Had a service contract before with another company and the service Brad and D&W provided blew that company away for half the price. Will definitely use them again and will give them the first chance to replace our older system in the next couple years.

Agent was very punctual. He was friendly and seemed to really know his business. He worked quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased with the service and the discounted price.

He's great, he did very well. My A/C went out and I think it was a capacitor. He showed up right away. He's always been great. I've been using him a couple of years now.

Our current air conditioner was 12 years old and had been repaired by another company 10 months ago. We knew we had to buy a new HVAC got 4 estimates (not from D&W at the time )but put off purchasing. It broke down again in May. I knew I wanted only a Trane and We called D&W late in the day on a Monday. The Owner, Randy, came Tuesday and gave me a price and told me that they could install on Friday. Wednesday morning he dropped off a portable air conditioner to help us out until the Installation On Friday William and Michael arrived and began installation. It turned out that the Manufacturer's warehouse had mixed up major parts with another installation in Bradenton. Randy drove to Bradenton and retrieved the parts necessary and brought them back because he did not want us to be without air conditioning another day. They completed their work at 6:30pm...9 1/2 hours of steady working. Every person we dealt with at D&W was courteous, prompt, friendly and knowledgable. It was a pleasure to do business with them and I would heartily recommend them.

Showed as promised, provided a high level of service, corrected previous issues caused by another company.

Servicemen came out to install new A/C unit and were efficient, worked hard and extremely professional. New unit was installed in one day with Ted coming in to follow up and make sure all was working well and to our satisfaction. We highly recommend this company for repairs and/or installation. They care about their customers and do everything in their power to make things right.

Recently the variable-speed-blower motor on my Trane air handler stopped working. The broken motor had been installed under warranty about five years ago, and at that time I was charged only 45 minutes labor for the repair. So, this time I purchased a new replacement motor at a reasonable price, and looked on Angie's list for professional help in installing it. I quickly found a "deal" that I thought would meet my needs. A company called D & W Heating & Air Conditioning in Sarasota was offering "One hour of repair labor for $90, a $169 value". The offer went on to say that the $90 deal included "travel, diagnostic, and one hour repair labor, no hidden fees". When I called D & W to schedule the repair, I was told by "Doug" that they could not do the repair job unless I bought the parts from them at a steep mark-up price. He told me that it was unreasonable to expect them to do one hour of labor purchased through Angie's List for $90, especially since ''Angie's List only pays them about $45 of the $90 deal price. I told Doug that it might be a good idea to include these stipulations in his advertising on Angie's List, and stop complaining about how much he was receiving from Angie's List. I also told Doug that I will be installing an entirely new air conditioning system at my home in a year or two, but considering this episode, I probably would not be looking to D & W to do that job.

It was great. They were really accommodating. It was really good.

The Tech they sent was Amazing! He was Very Thorough and pointed out, each step of the way, the condition of the air conditioner. He was Very Knowledgeable and told us where the weaknesses of the system were, what to expect as time goes forward and proper care to extend the life of the unit. I would highly recommend this company for any heating and air conditioning needs you might have!

They are fine. I have no problems recommending them. Their price is good, service is good; no problems. It was a reasonable price. I think we got an Angie’s List deal the last time we had them out. Everything was fine and there were no complaints.

Our A/C unit needed to be replaced as the original equipment was pieced together by another contractor. They came out during the holiday season went through the entire system to see if we could repair anything. We asked for a full estimate on a replacement and they took the time to explain what system we were getting. We contracted with them for replacement, again during the holiday season, and the installers were timely, professional and took the time to walk us through what was done. We are impressed with the work and they will have our business going forward.

Perfect. The installers were great. The owner explained everything. The price was good. I would recommend them highly.

It went very well. What I liked best was this particular service provider's knowledge of my hvac system and of future options and newer technologies that are now available. He used to build "clean rooms" for institutions so I felt a higher confidence level that he knew what to look for ... a very pleasant, knowledgeable person. He gave me needed info on the system in the home I had just purchased and about upgrades I could think of for the future. Above average.

Excellent, on time, did some extras at no cost, top of line system, our town inspector was amazed at quality of install.

Technician was prompt and appeared on time. Inspected unit and did tune up and cleaning. Blower motor was worn out and beginning to seize. Module and motor were replaced.

Would definitely use this provider in the future.

Mike was excellent in showing me the issue and explaning it in lamens terms. Bottom line, it is hard to find trustworthy, dependable service professionals. Mike Todd of D&W Heating & Air Conditioning exceeded my expectations. As a result, I purchased a four year service plan. Thanks!

They explained everything thorughly He was very detailed, I needed to have other work done and I think I wish I would have gotten a second opinion. I felt at the time that they were there lets get it done. We can trust them.

This was for a service call after the Florida Power and Light Company blew the capacitor on the A/C unit when they switched out the smart meter to an analog meter. The service cost $110.00 for labor, $169.00 for run capacitor, and $179.95 for start capacitor for a total of $458.95 by the technician Ted.

These guys are good. They came when they said they would and finished when they said they would. The owner visited the site during the day to make sure things were being done properly, and they were. The technicians made no mess and were very informative and courteous. during the re-fit. Prior to the job, the owner went through the options in terms of replacing just the malfunctioning equipment and leaking pipes or putting in a new system and if so, what options there we could have. In the end we opted for a new system because the old system had components breaking every year and it was and endless issue with what was going to break down next. I am an engineer and know something about A/C and what we got was an improvement on what we had, plus peace of mind. we got a very quiet and efficient system that was not easy to install since it had to be routed under an existing slab, but it was done successfully

Signed up for a Special Deal service coupon for a tech visit, and they had the tech out the same day. He found a non-functioning compressor (it would start up, then immediately shut down). They suggested that I replace the entire system, but I declined. They ordered the parts and came out the next day to do the install. Had it installed and working in a couple of hours. My only concern re: this service was that I was only given a flat price for everything. No invoice stating how much for labor, what the parts cost, what brand and model compressor they had used, whether they discounted the labor price to take into account the "Special Deal" I had paid for, etc. Since compressors can cost from $400 to $4000, I have no idea if this was a good deal.
