Excellent. Work was started and finished on time. Installers were professional, courteous, and neat. I had D&W maintaining the old system and their technicians actually do something when they come out. The old maintenance company also sold me that system. The system never did the cooling it was supposed to until I found and used D&W from Angie's List. The old system was a Carrier that was made in Mexico. Leaked coolant from the on set. D&W trade in quality equipment and will spend the time necessary to inform you so you make the best choice. Now I have a system that is warranted and insured for ten years for parts and labor. Plus they do all the registration paperwork and schedule the inspection.

These guys are the best I've ever dealt with, and I've owned lots of homes in lots of different parts of the country. Every time I interact with them, they seem to continually impress me with their responsiveness, professionalism, and the excellent quality of their workmanship. Not only that, but they do it at a reasonable price.

Randy was prompt and handled the problem very well.

Tune up was fine but suggested capacitor be replaced.

The service call went well - he is clearly an expert in his field and very friendly. He explained everything about our system and did not try and up-sell or push products or services on us. On June 23, 2016 my central A/C stopped cooling - noticed at 5 pm. I called several companies and A & W responded quickly. Ted Morningstar from A & W arrived at 6 pm and fixed the problem in less than an hour for a total of $529. I questioned him on the parts markup because of the high cost. He said he was a supervisor with 20+ yrs. experience, but did not know their cost, only what should be charged based on a price list he had. Several weeks later, after double checking the cost of the parts, I am sorry to say that D & W seems to be gouging unsuspecting customers. Here are the part charges (the service call charge was $135): Run Capacitor - D & W charged $188; cost of part $2 - $15 Start Assist - D & W charged $205; cost of part $15 - $39 Customers expect to incur a markup on parts, but more than 10 times cost is exhorbitant, excessive and price gouging. The other incident that I wish to report happened before I discovered the price gouging -- I decided to replace my central A/C. I got the basics by researching online: 3 quotes, energy efficiency, importance of accurate load calculation. I called D & W, Ted Morningstar, to schedule a quote inspection. He said he had already given me a quote - true..he quoted me $6500 when he was here for the service call - based on the current system. I explained to him that everything I read indicated that a thorough inspection was needed in order to determine whether the current system was correct. He said, "Are you cool? If you are, that's enough of an inspection(!)". When I insisted, he said I'd have to pay for a quote - a free service by all contractors that I called. I told him that I was not interested. I cannot express enough what bad business both of these experiences are. Since then, I have had my central A/C replaced by another business in Sarasota and am very satisfied.

Work was efficiently and professionally done. Scheduling is challenging - very busy and they put "emergencies" ahead of scheduled appointments. Pricing was competitive.

This company provided excellent service!!! The company rep called timely after I requested the service online to verify the appointment time. Brad the technician arrived on time, was knowledgeable, professional and personable. He answered all my questions. He was thorough and performed all services stated in the promo offer efficiently. He knew his products and their expected performance and life expectancy. To the owner-You have an excellent employee (Brad) here !!!! Definitely recommend this company, and will use them again yearly for AC check and service if needed.

Randy, the owner, was great and patient. He explained everything to me. The follow-up was great. I didn't use them at this time but would highly recommend them for your consideration.

Excellent service. They were punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and addressed my concerns and answered all my questions.

Called and had call back within 5 minutes by one of the owners. Set up service call for next morning. After service call the owner talked with husband. He priced an AC unit for us that was VERY reasonable, and stated he would deduct the repair cost from the cost of the new unit. Two service techs came out and replaced the AC unit in two hours time. They even took their shoes off before entering out home. They were very nice, professional. We would recommend this company to everyone.

Went VERY well. Owner Randy came out day after I called which was surprising given the time of year (most other's couldn't make an appt for several days). Randy inspected the unit and advised we were low on freon and likely have a slow leak. He replaced Freon and provided a quote for a new unit if it turns out we need one. Was very happy with his service and will most definitely use his services again when needed.

Brad, our technician was honest, very informative and professional. He explained everything he was doing and why. While the repair was a bit more than I expected, I feel the price was probably market competitive.

They were punctual and had the outside unit replaced first. Then they started on the inside unit and the additional vent. They worked the entire day and we're always busy. Even the owner checked in on their progress. The crew was very polite, knowledgeable and proficient and were able to answer any of my questions regarding the new system.It took at least 8 hrs and the crew cleaned up everything related to the job before they left. After they replaced the Thermostat they explained its operation and told me about the system warranty with Trane and what I needed to do to register my new equipment. Yes I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to family and friends.

It went very well. The service people were very efficient. They had no problems.

It was fine! As expected actually. Very thorough & professional. We were impressed and satisfied. He spent over an hour on our units.

We originally thought we just needed a service call since our AC wasn't working very well. Turns out it was the evaporator coil. D&W worked at making sure our AC was still covered under warranty after investigating the previous owner's purchase and making sure it transferred to us. Saved us a lot of money! They were courteous, prompt, and kept us informed along the way.

Top flight service all around. The owner came out in person to inspect our broken Lennox unit and we agreed it didn't make sense to try repairing the corroded coils. He gave a quote upfront that spelled everything out very clearly and included all work including installing a new pad and disposal. Other quotes I received where vague about the unit capacity and even the brand. They arrived on time and were polite and professional. We learned some details about the system works. Even though there was no haggling on the quote he came in $400 cheaper than all the others. System has been running fine for the last 6 mo. These folks are shining stars in a profession that badly needs one.

Called early on a Sunday morning due to the AC dying overnight. Ted called me back very promptly and said he would be there by 11am. Ted showed up early , which was great, and very quickly diagnosed the problem and fix it just as quickly. I could not be happier as I was having family over that day and it would not have been very fun with no AC in Fl in August. Never used D+W before but I will use them moving forward for all AC/Heat issues.

It went great. I called and a technician was here within an hour. I had a working unit within an hour and a half. This is awesome bc I have three kiddos on a school night with homework to do. I will definitely be using this company again.
