D & W Heating & Air Conditioning

I was thoroughly impressed with D&W. First, the service tech Andre came to clean our 16-year-old AC. He was punctual and professional. He also talked to us about purchasing a new AC unit. We decided to take him up on the offer. D&W was a few hundred dollars more expensive than the other estimates we got, but my instinct told me to go with D&W. And I was completely right! We bought a new Trane unit from D&W. The installation techs arrived at 8:30AM and were done by 1:30PM and did an excellent job with the installation. They also took the time to make sure I knew how to work the new thermostat and answered all my questions. Even the county inspector complimented their work. I'm very glad I went with D&W and I highly recommend them for being friendly, professional, thorough, punctual and an overall good company.

One of the best in the business . In a profession where honesty , reliability and quality is sometimes lacking , they stand head and shoulders above the rest .

The owner reviewed the job with us and followed up our meeting with a call to see if we had any more questions. We had 4 estimates done and We found D & W the best deal for the unit we were interested in. The team that installed the unit were Friendly , prompt and efficient. They answered all our questions , and reviewed the systems function and warrantees.

Rep checked and then charged for service call didn't do any repair. Supposed to put Bill on my email never received. Called office and told they would repost nothing yet. Call tri county and they checked A/C no charge and repair estament $1,500 less.

Ted repaired our old unit a year ago and we were very pleased with the service he did then. Old unit was 17 years old and knew it was a matter of time. Honest no nonsense or b.s.

On Sunday June 18th, the cooling system stopped working effectively and inside temperatures began to rapidly climb. I called D & W and Randy got back to me and told me he could do nothing about it until Tuesday at which time he would have obtained the required parts. In the meantime, I called another company and it sent a technician within the hour. The technician immediately determined that the drain line was blocked causing the shutdown. He cleared the line and found no additional problems. When I talked to Randy on June 19th, he insisted that he had cleaned the line on June 2 and I saw him do so. If he did the work, it wasn't thorough. The second technician emptied his vacuum before starting the work. He emptied it again when he finished, and chunks of gunk (probably algae) came out. It seems to me that clearing a drain line is fundamental to any routine service visit. Randy told me that the system wasn't fixed, despite what I thought. Well, the air conditioner has worked fine since the second contractor cleared the line. If further repairs are needed, D & W won't be doing them.

We have not complaints. They come to our home and storage unit. First impression was they are good people. They are very fair and competent. They come out right away if you have a problem. They do their job and they don't try to find something wrong that's not wrong. Brad is really nice when he comes out to the house. They are all nice and pleasant. I just want them to do things right, and they do.

They have several people that are very nice. When they do the maintenance they usually do it in about half an hour. When they come in they check the thermostat and they always put something on their feet.

Originally found them on Angies List three years ago and never regretted a moment about using them . They are honest [ a rarity in the business ] and professional with fair pricing . So do not fear contacting them with your needs . They will not disappoint !

Installers arrived around 8:30, removed the old compressor and handler. Installed new unit. Installers were friendly and professional. The install took only about 6 1/2 hours. My contact Brad was very nice and knowledgeable throughout. I would recommend D&W for your Heating and A/C needs. I look forward to a long relationship with them.

New customer although they did install the AC in the house I recently bought. Showed up promptly on the same day I called and fixed the problem. They also honored the $69 service call coupon featured on their web site. Very professional. Randy, the owner, was great.

Excellent. The installers William and Michael were efficient and professional. They worked quickly and got the job done in the time estimated - 9:00am-5:00pm. I could tell they were very experienced installers and that is the most important thing in a new system. They cleaned up everything and left the space neat and tidy. Owner Randy, was helpful in explaining everything to me and was prompt and professional with his replies to my questions. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend to anyone who needs a new system.

Randy was great. He came early, and he was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly. He was even able to explain exactly what he did in terms I understood, and he kindly took the time to teach me about my AC unit -- this was great since it was here when we bought the house, and I had known very little about it. The checkup went great. I had them install a Remi air purifier and it went perfect. I would highly recommend this company. Extremely professional, prompt and knowledgeable.

Brad was very nice, he went around back and checked my ac unit. Wrote up a detailed report about what was wrong with my blower motor. The report stated that I would get a call in the morning to let me know when they could come out and repair my blower motor. I called them the next day and spoke with a man who told me they did not think they were the right company to do the work I needed. He said they did not think they could get the parts for my temp star. He recommended I call a company that specialises in temp star units. He gave me two names of companies that would be able to work on my machine.
