Randy was superb. He did all the required technical work professionally. Then we discussed options should the system need replacement within the next year. I highly recommend Randy and his firm should you need an air-conditioning tuneup or assessment of the status of your system.

I have only GREAT things to say about D & W from the original meeting when they estimated the cost and then provided a detailed proposal within 12 hours!! They arrived on time, worked very hard for more than 8 hours, and cleaned up - left NO mess.

Randy, owner of D&W, called me back immediately after I called to make an appointment. He came out and gave us a very thorough "education" on air conditioning, size, seer ratings, etc. We appreciated learning so much. We'd read a bit but still didn't understand a lot. So he did a thorough inspection and wrote us a quote. We had 2 other quotes also. Randy wasn't the least expensive?.but we felt very comfortable with him and his honesty. He was here about an hour. After he left we discussed each quote and a couple of days later we decided on Randy. He called US back before we got back with him. We never heard from the other two companies!!! A week later two of Randy's guys came out and did the install. It was a big job as our outside unit is 10' off the ground. they had to patch a large ceiling hole on the inside around the unit where it goes into the attic. They did a great job. they also installed a thick base inside for the new unit to sit on (I keep saying UNIT because I don't know what the parts are called ). It all looks very nice and neat!! Randy called that evening to ask how it went. We told him we were thrilled with everything. D&W will submit the paperwork to the power company for our rebate! We don't need to do anything. That's nice. We also get a $300 tax credit on our taxes next year?another bonus I wouldn't have known. They left us with a nice folder that has all of the paperwork in it incase anyone should need to work on the unit in the future. The 2 guys cleaned up everything! We didn't save to pick up so much as a crumb of debris. They went the extra mile to completely coat the inside unit with a protective barrier..and they install TWO overflow valves on the unit incase the first one doesn't' kick in. We are super happy with D&W and I have already recommended them to friends . Thank you RANDY and company. You have a life long customer here.

We had an air conditioning inspection and as a result of the high cost to repair our present air conditioner decided to purchase a new one instead., Randy Whiting of D&W came out to do the estimate. Of all the companies he was the most thorough in explaining what would work best for our home, and discussing our options. His proposal was not the least expensive, but I thought it was the best value. I had several questions about the estimate and the recommended equipment. Randy got back to me promptly each time, and answered all my questions completely and professionally. The 2 man installation crew came on time, and performed the install. They cleaned up after themselves, and everything looks great, and the new system is running great. They went through the attic and inspected all the duct work as they said they would. Everything was done to code, and exceeds the expectations I had. I would recommend D&W without hesitation to anyone looking to install an air conditioning system.

It went fine. They came and did the work they were supposed to do. It's has been a while, I really don't remember them very well.

They were extremely accommodating and very professional. I was so impressed with their visit that I subsequently purchased a service contract. I have since had to email them for service (my fault) and they called me back first thing the next day and scheduled a time to come out that day. I would highly recommend this company. They are a class act.

After getting bids from three companies, we chose D & W because they took into consideration our needs and analyzed our particular situation. We are about to get new windows and doors installed which will be much more energy efficient. Neither of the other companies took this into account, and it did have an bearing on the system we needed. They started work in a timely manner and we're prompt, worked on time and finished the job in two days. Their work was of the highest quality, they were neat and considerate. Also we are impressed with their follow-up attention. We highly recommend them.

The service provider arrived on time, inspected system components inside/outside and sanitized duct work. He answered all of our questions relative to our particular system, provided approximate service intervals and offered to sell us an annual maintenance contract. Angie's List offer from this company was listed as Inspection and 'Tune-up'. I am not sure what else a 'tune-up' might include. Overall, we are satisfied with the service provided.

We are very pleased with our purchase of an Angie's List coupon (it was our first time) and with the service at D &W. I would highly recommend to others.

It worked out fine. They came out the same day I purchased the deal. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

Florida Power and Light (FPL) reviewed my air conditioning system for efficiency after I received several conflicting bids on what needed to be done to correct cooling issues. I was most impressed with D & W's bid, both for the integrity of the proposal and for the price. While other companies said the ducts needed to be replaced, D & W said they only needed to be sealed. FPL verified this fact. Of course, this saved me a lot of money. Did D & W do a good job addressing and fixing the problems? My electric bill for October decreased from $139 to $98 though there was only a week left of the billing cycle when they did their work. My next bill is projected to be $69. The house is significantly cooler though the thermostat is set lower. I am very pleased with D & W's performance.

I have a rental home and called D&W for a second opinion on what might be wrong with the rental units AC. The first guy who showed up from a different company told me I need a new condenser and was trying to up sell me on all sorts of stuff. I called for a second opinion from D&W and a man by the name of Doug came out and met me after hours. He was very nice. He told me flat out that it was not the condenser and then ran a few tests..The part i needed only cost 100 bucks.. I will use this company again..It is hard to find trustworthy honest people- The other guy told me to fix it was going to be between 800 and 900 bucks...If your looking for an honest business I would use them. It saved me a lot of money.

After 15 years my AC unit finally called it quits. I called several local heating and air contractors for estimates. Honestly it was like gambling in Vegas on whether they would show up let alone at the time they stated. I knew I found the right contractor the moment D & W answered the phone. It was a professional, friendly person that was articulate and clearly defined a time and date for an estimate. The estimator was clean cut, professional and spent a significant amount of time explaining our options. We received a written estimate with several proposals that we discussed in an way that made sense with no hidden fees or costs. We decided to move forward with D & W 's estimate and had an install date almost immediately. The install technicians were prompt, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Once they completed the install they even took the time to go over what they did, showed us old, removed parts and a quick tutorial on how to operate the new system. The county came to inspect the work and I commented to the inspector how impressed we were and the inspector made the statement "yea these guys do great work". The bill was detailed and precise. We even received a follow up call from their office making sure we were happy. I would definitely recommend D & W to anyone.

I've used D & W in the past and have always been satisfied with their service. This particular visit was over and above excellent service. Because of a scheduling mishap they didn't even charge me for the service call.

BEWARE!!! Called D&W because AC was not cooling. On October 18, 2013 D&W sent out technician who said that a wire had burned out and that it ruined the terminal. The technician repeatedly said the wire/terminal could not be fixed or replaced. He said that it would be at least $1,800 to replace the compressor or $4,500 to replace the entire AC system. We immediately called another AC company that sent out a tech a few hours later. Their tech reconnected the wires that had been left disconnected and replaced the one defective part. Parts were about $30 and the AC is working fine. We called D&W and since it is a Saturday we received their answering service. We said we would like to have the owner call back to discuss and that we did not want to speak with the technician who came out. A few minutes later the same technician, and not the owner, called me back. Therefore, we decided to post this review. This is exactly what makes Angie's List worth it, so people can learn about these types of experiences.

The owner, Randy Whiting, made the call. Right on time. Professional to the max. Extremely knowledgeable and very honest. Never tried to sell me something I didn't need just pointed out what to watch for and what to check periodically. I was very impressed with this company and would recommend it to everyone.

We purchased a big deal for the service. My husband bought that and he used it. They were professional, they came out and did a good job.

We were very concerned about our A/C leaking water profusely. I called D&W at about 5:15 hoping to get someone out to the house before our A/C completely died - that would not be good in 90 degree weather. My first impression was the lady that answered the phone, I apologize for not remembering her name, but she was incredibly friendly and very personable. She advised me that Ted was the person on call he would call us to let us know if he could come out to fix it. My husband talked to him about the problem and he was extremely helpful. He could have come out and charged us for a call, but instead he walked my husband through how he could possibly fix the problem himself. He gave us his number and asked us to call him back just in case the fix didn't work. Guess what, it worked and our garage is no longer filling with water. I'm so glad we checked Angie's List and I will be calling them back very soon just to come out and check the A/C system and clean the duct work. Thank you Ted and D&W for such great customer service!
