Description of Work: A single-package heat pump air-source and new thermostat was installed. The installation was inspected by the Sarasota zoning department and was found to be satisfactory. The workmanship was very good. I am satisfied with the results and would recommend D&W to anybody.

Description of Work: D&W sent over Ted, a great guy who spent over an hour examining the installation and writing a proposal for a whole new system. Ted came across as a knowledgeable and ethical professional, not a salesman. I got a great deal, saving me about 33% from two other estimators' bids. Wow!

Description of Work: My house was not cooling properly and a wall in my linen closet had some mildew, so I called my usual heating and cooling company. They told me I needed all new duct work and my unit cleaned. This came to several thousand dollars. My son thought the estimate was too high for the amount of work, so I went to Angie"s list. I called D&W heating and cooling and Randy came out, taped the plenum and said this would work until I needed a new unit. I cannot say how happy this made me.

Description of Work: They came to give me a second opinion after my primary service company told me that my air conditioner/heat pump was about to fail and tried to sell me a new one. D&W did a thorough inspection/testing while I observed. They told me that there was an average amount of wear and tear for the age of the unit and that it seemed to be functioning normally. I had been discussing the stuation with a friend in the repair business who lives in another state; between my discussions with him and my observations, I feel relatively confident in keeping my current system. Needless to say, I am going to hire D&W to do my routine servicing from now on. I got their name from Angies List. I had neverr had reason to check brfore, but my original service company only had three comments; one as A ,one D one F.
