Custom Dock & Davit

The experience I had with Custom Dock and Davit (“CDD”) does not follow the other reviews posted in review sites. I prefer not to write a lot of reviews and pretty much stay off social media but the experience I had frustrated me enough to want to make sure my experience was shared with those looking to get a boat slip built. My issue with CDD is with their customer service and their level of professionalism. I scheduled a meeting to review my boat slip and dock/lift building needs. I was told I would receive a quote quickly. However, after two weeks of not responding to any emails or phone calls, I was just told today after calling a SIXTH time that they are “very busy”. OK, so your ENTIRE company is “too busy” to return a phone call or email to even say to a customer trying to give you money “we are super busy, we will get it to you in X”. The entire experience was unprofessional, curt and today it was an attack on “the customer” trying to get a quote or return phone call. At this point, I know the actual building process would be horrible since they can’t even return a phone call or email, so this relationship was ruined. I’ll find someone else who will take my money. It's odd for me to think this request for a 10x20 slip/lift quote was such a burden to them. It’s even more odd to get NO response to numerous emails and phone calls inquiring about my quote. I would recommend on choosing another company who provides “customer service”,

Existing seawall was undercut by erosion. Custom Dock installed a new seawall in front of the old with much deeper penetrations to prevent future undercutting. Custom Dock was very patient and responsive in addressing my requests for design modificaitons to optimize costs without compromising functionality. The new seawall looks great, and most importantly I am confident that it will stand up to the Florida storms!
