Great Customer Service Amazing Job on the roof!

This company replaced my roof after Ian. After they removed the old roof and did the first layer for the new roof (before they put the shingle down), there was a huge leak in my garage, even though they assured us the roof wouldn’t leak as it was & w/o the shingle. They did repair the damage, but it took weeks. I had to show up at their location unexpected (since they wouldn’t respond via phone or email) and I had to deny final payment until it was repaired, for them to fix it. Fast forward to ~2 years later and there’s a leak in my roof again. The carpet was damaged and the drywall is ruined. They sent out their people twice, it was never repaired properly. It’s still actively leaking and it’s been over 2 months since I’ve been talking with them about it and now they won’t return calls or emails. They also wouldn’t say if they’ll do anything about the damaged carpet and drywall. Very unprofessional. I have also heard there are other former clients seeking legal action against them.

The owner of the company is a pure salesman. He will tell you anything to make the sale. It appeared that he had very little idea of what was happening during the roof replacement. Thankfully the foreman was a great. Some things the owner stated that did not occur: *Take pictures to show the condition of the roof prior to replacement of any boards *Crew were all long-term employees. However, one member of my crew was new because the foreman the rest of the crew were concerned because he was not acclimated to the hot conditions. *Provide certification to my insurance company that the roof met conditions for a wind mitigation discount from my insurance company. After several attempts (with no response from the owner) I had to pay to have someone else perform the inspection. *It was estimated that the work would take five days. It took eight days. I had to call to find out when the roof was going to be completed. The owner has poor communications skills. Don't expect anything from after you sign the contract.
