Went well. They put sheets over furniture and floor to keep soot from getting onto the furniture and floor.

Responded timely to all communications, called prior to arrival and completed work well quickly, including a flashing repair that was recommended.

They were awesome, friendly and thorough.

Brian was very courteous and professional. He explained what he was going to do and then got right to it. He provided a summary of what he did and the condition of the roof vent. He did a very thorough job cleaning up and placed the dryer back in position. I was very pleased and plan to use this service from this provider as needed.

Estimate was done on November 16th, and I paid exactly that price, no more. Yes, waiting for a response is rough, however, the workman arrived today as expected, and did not take long to get work done.

I bought a $75 big deal for this service. I had never had it done before and thought they were a bit pricey for what they did. One worker came out and he was there for about 30 minutes. I can't tell whether the dryer vent is working better. I just don't think that he got down inside the actual dryer that well. He supposedly went up on the roof and took out some stuff but after he left then I went down inside the dryer with something to finish cleaning out. I have seen vents where people are doing the same work for $50 so I am not sure I would pay $75 again.

For the first appointment, the mason was very prompt, early, in fact. It took some back and forth to schedule the 2nd appointment. The person in the office seems a little disorganized or overwhelmed. She triple booked the mason but he was professional and worked it out and got the job done fast.

Their work is not yet finished, many months (6 or more) after they agreed to do the work. Twice parts were incorrect for our fireplace, so the installers left, saying parts had to be sent back and reordered. We leave for the summer tomorrow so they say they will return in the fall to finish. We have had a gas fireplace installed in 2 other houses in 2 days, so we are astounded by Chimney Cricket's service. (or lack there of) The phone is not often answered and calls are not always returned. We will not be return customers.

They did a great job. Unfortunately, I was on a conference call the entire time they were here, so my contact with them was limited. It appears they removed decades of crud from the vent - and my dryer does work much better, as promised! Good job...quiety, efficient, quick.

I live in a condo and there's another condo over mine. He had to get up on the roof with an extension ladder to inspect the chimney cap. He also came in and checked my damper. It turns out I just wasn't pushing on the handle hard enough to completely close it.

Recommended replacement product and installed.

Very Very professional and prompt. He told me what he was going to do, cleaned the line, brought me the lint to show how much lint he found and then went back on roof with dryer running to confirm it was blowing.

It was difficult to get in contact with them, and when I did they told me they don't service my area.
