This was not a "no brainer" job. I have several large live oak trees on the east side of the house where the chimney is located. One major trunk overhangs the top of the chimney and had previously caused some damage.. So, Jon and Gordon spent lot of time trying to figure out a solution that would reduce the risk of future tree damage during high winds. For this they designed, fabricated, delivered and installed a unique design of cap and chase cover that meets our needs. They chose aluminum coated steel to inhibit rust, but we will probably paint it at a later date when we paint the house. We chose not to replace the wood trim. They repaired the stucco as requested. They honored the original price quote. A combination of my undergoing medical procedures, the summer weather and the custom design work by Jon and Gordon meant we didn't actually do the job until August 28th. They were prompt, performed the work in 5 hours and delivered a quality project. It was worth the wait. I encouraged them to update their listing on Angie's list. They are insured and bonded, based in Sarasota but do work in Hillsborough, etc. They ask for a small down payment. Credit cards are accepted. I hoped to have some BEFORE and AFTER pictures but they are not available, because I neglected to ask soon enough. My bad!

He was very professional. Every thing was cleaned after he finished with the fireplace. The quality of work was excellent.

We think it went very well. The work was completed in a timely fashion and resolved the leaking problem to the best of our knowledge.

I had scheduled an appt for Friday. They said the appt time would be between 1pm and 5pm. So I left work early and waited. 4:15 pm I called and left a message on the local number. no reply, so then I called the 800 number and spoke to a woman who said she would have the driver call me and they never did. I lost 4 hours from work and I should send them a bill. Never use this company.

When installing a new roof the roofer found that his flashing would not adhere to the chimney as the stucco was floppy and no new plywood had been installed. The chimney work was redone by the roofer, at considerable extra cost, but on time and of flawless quality.

They were great. We have an old house with a unique chimney and they were able to get everything fixed.

I didn't see any final pictures and could only observe from ground level. I'm going to have a mitigation inspection for home insurance and then I could give a better overall review. Below: Would I like to share this? You already filled in the answer. My answer is NO.

I had a hard time getting them to come out. Their overall work was fine. They still had some more apparently that they were going to fill in but I haven't had a chance to call them back.

I contacted them for possible masonry work at my home and got great email and phone response from the person who schedules appointments. I explained the work I needed done and they agreed that to budget it appropriately they needed to visit which I totally agreed with and preferred. She told me a person would be in my area the very next day and he would be in contact with me. 2 hours later, that person called and we exchanged information and he told me I would see him the next day. He would call my # when he was closing in so I didn't have to wait around, which is always my preference since I work very close to where I live. So far, so great. Next day comes, no call. No email, nothing. I send a message to the person at the company the next day who had been so helpful telling them how unhappy I was, half expecting an apology or an explanation. A week later, I've never heard a thing back from anyone. I suspect that the work in question was on the border of their sweet spot for what they normally do. Reviews of their work on other sites are great, so I would not dissuade anyone from trying them out but when someone sets up an appointment and does not show up, I have to give them an F for responsiveness

They will give me an estimate for the job. I want the flashing around the chimney to be repaired. I want a damper put on. I need a new cap for the chimney. They were good. They seemed to know what they were talking about.
